Grand Times Hotel

Lobby had a cool atmosphere at night. Breakfast featured a variety of breads and spreads, some cereal, juices, eggs, yogurt, and cheese. Weekend breakfast featured fresh fruit. Everything was clean. Wife noted hot water was instant in the shower.

Weekday breakfast had canned fruit instead of fresh fruit, which probably wouldn't have been so bad had we not had fresh fruit on the weekend first. As an American, I'm sort of used to seeing either pancakes or waffles at breakfast, too, but that might not be a big deal for you. Parkling lot could stand to be bigger.

The room is very clean and comfortable.

The , especially Alesandre that helped us with our check in because we made a mistake with our booking and he accommodated us very well.

The beds are a little too soft for me. The last night we were there there was a party going on in the room, we think the room next to us and I think they were smoking because it smelled like smoke and fire but I called the front desk and they said nobody had complained about the fire smell and that the party could go on till 11.

Convenient to the mall with the Mega Parc (an indoor amusement park) inside. Easy access from the highway but not so close that you could hear the noise from it.

They charged me for a bottle of water that we never used. We brought our own drinks and I assume because it was the same brand water and we left the bottle for recycling that they thought we took their expensive one. Had to call them to get a refund on their mistake.

Excellent location, just opposite to Galeries de la Capitale mall. If you have kid do visit mall and head to Mega Parc for awesome and joyous rides. It’s not far from old Quebec so convenient to drive. Breakfast was not that grand but my daughter had it twice and like it. Only complaint that they charged for the water they kept in the room as we thought it’s complementary 😁 Would definitely recommend and would stay again when I go Quebec City next time.

The breakfast choices are very limited for the price, it’s very hard to navigate to get my food, It’s not display for several people at the same time, I went one time!

The cleaning could be better and they should always have 2 receptions in the morning to avoid to wait too long!

The room was clean and big enough. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Indoor swimming pool was good but a little bit small.

There were no facilities in the room. No safety box, no coffee/tea machine.

Price considering market is a little high, and more options for. Continental breakfast would be appreciated again in relation to price.

The rooms were comfortable and the indoor pool an added bonus when travelling with kids. The continental breakfast was pretty basic, but good for those who are looking for toast and coffee, juice and fruit.

We didnt get any housekeeping services due to covid. Apparently we were supposed to request it, but were never advised. We did find the housekeeping staff in the hallway and were able to get fresh towels at least.
