Super kid and family friendly hotel. Everyone was incredibly warm. Seems like their normal clientele is mainly comprised of French Canadians, so almost all conversations initially begin in French, but everyone seamlessly switches to English without any issue once it’s clear you don’t speak French. The pool area, splash pad and playground were fun for all ages because there’s also an adjacent hot tub. The restaurant went out of their way to make the kids feel special. They even had their own soft serve machine and let the kids make their own ice cream sundae after their meal. Given the cold and rainy weather while we were in town, we weren’t cooped up in our hotel room because of all of the kid friendly amenities. There was even a kids play room where our 9yo got her nails painted and the kids could play with sand, blocks, air hockey, etc. Free parking. Festive holiday decorations. We couldn’t take advantage of all of the activities Thursday-Sunday because we had things to do in town, but a family could come to the hotel for a weekend and not have to leave for basically anything. Highly recommend.

The only negative is the property appears in need of a little more maintenance, but it’s nothing major. Things seem a bit worn and frayed here and there. Again, nothing major, but the only gripe if I have one.

the whole establishment is very family friendly my daughter is 6 and she loved the pool, the hot tub, and the mini water park there's a mini arcade in the basement too and underground (not heated) parking the restaurant staff were very friendly and nice view of the pool

the whole facility was pretty dated, for the relatively high price per night, they could have maybe renovated during COVID? same for the food, it's convenient but it's not cheap and it's not good. But end of the day, the kids don't see any of these stuff... they had fun and that's all the matters

The property is super close to the highway which is great but is hard to get to right now (Oct 2024) with lots and lots of construction all around. Getting to it wasn’t super easy. The pool area and climbing structure were great for the kids and restaurant was big and easily accessible. We didn’t have a chance to use the blow up castles outside.

We were on the bottom floor which was a little harder to get to and the rooms are a little worn. The pool area is open until 10pm (which is awesome) but it means lots of kids up until 10pm and the floors had lots of sound travelling through. The coin machine in the arcade wasn’t working and even though a staff member said the arcade machines will accept any coins they do not. And we lost some dollars in the machines.

The room was comfortable, though we didn't need two beds, and found that one of the beds was more comfortable than the other. We appreciated the onsite restaurant where the food and service were good. The hotel kindly informed us of the construction around their building and suggested an alternate route.

The hotel attempted several times to take a security deposit in the week before our reservation. Their stated policy is that they would take it the day before, but they actually tried at least 4 days before. Other hotels take this deposit upon registration. That's soon enough. I am sure the hotel chain makes a few cents of each security deposit, which probably adds up to a significant amount given the number of rooms in each hotel.

Proximity to mall as another entertainment for families with teens while the younger ones enjoy the hotel’s amenities and activities. The hot tub and serenade of live singers at night is a sweet joy for parents as they look after the kids at the pool.

The ongoing construction across the bldg (which of course is not the hotel’s fault). Perhaps an incline by the stairs (in 3rd floor) would be helpful as it was challenging to wheel the trolley with our luggage on it. Also, those rooms without a balcony, drying wet clothes (from the pool) is difficult; no clothesline available. An exhaust fan for the bathroom would be good.

Pool closed at 10 even when still busy. Could be a little later. Maybe 11. Restaurant wouldn’t serve tuna tartare for take out, my wife came just for that, and couldn’t get it because she was with the kids at pool and restaurant closed at the same time. Restaurant was only open until 10. Not much underground parking. Late check in doesn’t give much time to enjoy the hotel.

Nice choice of activities though crowded at times Close to Quebec aquarium. The second queen was a Murphy bed which we loved! Also great that the desk turned into a small table. Great that there were towels at the pool area so you didn't have to take the ones from the room

It was very crowded and overwhelming at times. The room was a 'normal' hotel room, good size but not exactly a family room. With many toddlers around it would have been nice to have a step stool in the room. The desk swung out to be a table but you couldn't reach it from the couch nor were there any chairs (other than a office chair) With the pool being the main attraction there were very few places to hang up towels/swimsuits in the room.

The activities by the pool were great. It was great when they left it warmed so we could really enjoy the pool environment. Although I read negative reviews, our buffet experience was great. My son had a blast we we specially loved mixing the mini pancakes with strawberry and chocolate syrup. The great selection of fruits was really positive for us. The room was confortable, clean and well organized.

My son developed some kind of allergy from the pool. I dont know if it was too much chloride, but he would complain his cheeks were burning in the last days of our stay. About the meals, just the scrambled eggs need some work - not tasty, and strange consistency and visuals.

Amenities were great for family, a lot of activities for the kids especially on fridays and weekends. The band playing by the pool was very entertaining. The room was clean. They don’t have a microwave in the room but there’s one on each floor. This hotel is old but I can say that it is well maintained. Air conditioning was good, floors are new. Lots of restaurants nearby, and a mall.

Check in is late, like 1700? Usually it’s 1500 or 1600. Pool is small especially on weekends. Restaurant is a bit pricey but food not so good.

Very kid friendly. Entertainment for the kids throughout the day. There is a kitchenette with a microwave and ice machine. Staff was really ok, especially the waiters. The food was fresh, both buffet and a la carte.

The buffet is rather expensive compared to the offer. The hotel pictures and description make you believe there is a water slide inside. There isn’t, it’s just a pool + a dry play area next to it. The pool is rather small for the number of kids spitting in there :)) It smells like something died in the hallways, because of the mold. The elevators smell like a chicken pen. This is disguised by the chlorine smell during the day, but if you are a morning person, don’t breathe too deep when you exit the room (at least my experience on the 5th floor) The thermostat was set on a really low temperature and the controls were “broken”.
