Hotel Mirador de Chamartín

Twin beds were incredible!! Super comfortable. Elegantly styled rooms, very tasteful. Bathroom was lovely, shower was amazing. I’ve stayed here a few times over the last 7 years and it’s even better now it’s been enlarged and newly renovated. Reception area much improved and meets with the 4* hotel welcome you’d expect. I will definitely be back when I’m back visiting family every year.

Had to ask twice at the reception for some new nespresso coffee pods for our room that they’d not replaced. Phone wasn’t working. But we didn’t need it anyway.

The staff were all friendly and so helpful. Their English was excellent (which was very helpful, as our Spanish was limited). Our room was spacious, cleaned beautifully each day. Beds were very comfy. Air con and spare duvet meant we could have the temperature to our liking. Black out shutters in the window and black out curtains were effective. The rainfall shower was fantastic! Good restaurants and a supermarket near by. Metro was easily walkable to us, simple quick and cheap to get train into Madrid Centre. Taxi to airport was 25 euros one way and 30 euros back. We found a fabulous cafe nearby on our first morning, and had brunch there each day apart from our last day when we had the buffet breakfast at the hotel... a more expensive option, but really good, lots of choice and plentiful.

Such a shame the swimming pool wasn't open until mid June. We could see it, and it looked a good size, and very inviting. It was 30 degrees outside and early June, it would have been lovely if we had been able to use the pool to cool down.

The shower was fantastic, great size and lovely shower head. The room had a settee which was good. Supermarket around the corner. Neighbourhood was residential and we felt safe

Would have like tea and coffee making facilities and a smart TV so that we could stream from our phone instead of watching on our phone. The was no English speaking TV hence watching netflix and UK news channels on our phone. Hardly any choice of restaurants locally

Gooddd room for the price! Nice open layout with a comfy bed, nice open shower layout (PS the room I specifecly stayed shoud be really only for you to go with your Partner/Spouse as the shower is really open concept with no curtains)

Unfortunately the sound proofing is not that good, and by not that good I mean there isnt any almost. I could hear the next room showering like they were on mine. That and there was a big picture in front the bath of a woman looking right at you while u shower, weird placement for me to say the least.

I loved the atmosphere of the hotel, very modern and fresh! The rooms are exceptional for the price we paid. Overall a great stay, the staff at the reception were very helpful and kind. The breakfast was also good.

It is a bit far away from the city centre, took about 20 mins with Uber (around €18). Although it has a metro station just about 5-10min walking distance, which is very convenient since our main way of transportation in Madrid was the metro. The metro itself also took about 20-25 mins to city centre. Honestly, it didn’t bother us at all but I believe it is worth mentioning for anyone planning to stay here.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was spotless and the room was spacious and clean. Great location not too far to the metro, taxis to and from where we wanted to go were not expensive. Would definitely recommend staying here.

There was only a small area to sit in if you were not in your room or by the pool, But for us that wasn't really a problem. There was no tea/coffee making facilities, would have been nice but again it definitely didn't ruin our time here.

cleanliness and location to train station and airport, neighborhood was great

not a negative because everyone at the property spoke English but very few did in this particular area when off property. it wasn’t an issue for us and we would definitely stay here again but thought I would mention.

Amazing hotel. The area (with a beautiful French caffee and bakery place just oposite), the room, the staff. Exceptional standard and high quality. We had a very nice time there.

Unfortunately, at the time of our stay (NY) the bar and restaurant was closed but we had a drink downstairs on our last day. Good selection of whiskey.

Location, proximity to train station. Restaurants and bars near it.

The bar hours and there was an employee who was extremely rude every time we asked a question like how do you get to the train, or at what time the bar/restaurant is open.

Lovely staff, great rooms, great breakfast. We loved the pool area for a chill and to cool off with the heat. Easy to get to metro and supermarket round the corner. Thanks for looking after us. We loved Madrid!

Variation of breakfast but still very good for getting us going for the day.
