Dorsett Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong

Location is very near many family friendly malls with free playgrounds and is walking distance to MTR station. Family friendly hotel with a Kids Zone. Very helpful and friendly staff. Hotel is clean and well kept.

There are hardly any English channels on the TV. The extra blankets I requested for my kids were not a great quality and was shedding all over the sofa bed and our clothes, which is not great for my kid with sensitive nose. The gym is also not very well equipped but ok for short stays.

Value for money is good, and it’s relatively quiet compared to other hotels. There’s a nice Cha Chaan Teng near there, so we could walk there within five minutes. Staff are friendly and responsive. MTR is not far.

Pillows could be more comfortable:)

Check in was smooth and hotel staff (from reception to concierge to housekeeping) were super friendly and helpful. Location is rather out of the way with no shops nearby, but there is a 7-11 right outside the hotel (note that they close at 11pm). The walk to the nearest Tai Wo Hau MTR takes about 10mins. The hotel provides a daily shuttle bus from 8am to 7pm to Kwai Fong MTR (5-10mins ride) which is really convenient. There's plenty of shops and food at Kwai Fong. In the afternoons the shuttle bus also stop at 2 other malls, but this makes the return journey from Kwai Fong to hotel really long (about 50mins). I highly recommend visiting Kwai Chung Plaza level 3 (at Kwai Fong MTR) for various yummy snacks and fruit juices. Hotel also has a laundry room with washers and dryers for HK$40 each. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers and sometimes in the nights they will all be full and you will have to wait your turn. Highly recommend this hotel!

It would be nice to have the hotel shuttle bus provide rides from Kwai Fong MTR beyond the current last bus at 7.10pm. Usually by the time we get back from exploring HK it will at least 8 or 9pm and we have to get a cab back or walk back from Tai Wo Hau MTR.

Staff was polite. Location is far from the centre but there is a metro station nearby and that line you can go directly to the centre without exchange. 10 walk to MTR. Rooms are clean but small, like most of the hotels in Hong Kong. The hotel is nothing special, but good value for the money we paid. . We asked for heaters, and we were provided in the cold Christmas time.

In the first evening, the room smells on cigarette even if they are pretending to be a non-smoking hotel. However, it gets better after that night. The Buffet area needs some improvement in the hygienic point and cleaning 👉

Room was pretty spacious comparing to others in HK for the same price. Location is ok. MTR station is just within 5 minutes walk. Airport bus shuttle also stops right near the hotel. Grocery store is on the ground floor, big supermarket/second MTR station are within 10 minutes walk. Overall service is nice, staff is helpful, rooms are clean, hotel provides shuttles to malls nearby.

Hotel is situated in industrial area which lacks cafes. There are few but more oriented towards locals, so its hard to find a "safe" one for a foreigner, you need to travel to another district.

I love the Chinese dim sum restaurant on the 1st floor. It was immaculate. Open at 6:00am daily. Dim sum at a discounted price till 11:00am. I enjoyed my 花膠灌湯餃 so much, I have to had one daily. The peanut n pork congee was scrumpdilicious. Servers were excellent, great service. Hotel Bus Shuttle.: So organized. U simply call to book your seat and hop onto the bus. The schedule is super convenient. Minutes to Kwai Fong MRT. Took me 30 minutes to arrive the Causeway Bay MRT station from the Kai Fong MRT station. The booking of shuttle seats is open 24/7. So good!!?! Service at the Front Check In counter: all staff are so courteous and well trained. Hotel Manager Edwin is a CHARM. His service for his hotel residence is rated "10". Understanding, caring and no matter how busy he is in his office, he comes out to the front counter to help me to the best of his knowledge. Edwin's help is immeasurable. I am very much impressed with his service. There is a 7-11 convenience store on the main street where you can buy snacks and bottled water. Super convenient. I stayed for two weeks from Dec. 15, 2023 till around Christmas time. I love Dorsett Tsuen Wan Hotel. I could have stay here for two months..... Thank you, Mr. Edwin Chow. Pretty much everything. The room's nice & comfortable with bath and shower, has everything thats needed. Lovely decor feels very posh. The staff are helpful and friendly. Drinking water is provided for free, there's hydration stations on each floor. Also an mtr station is within walking distance, around 10 minutes

Breakfast can be a bit chaotic and very limited choices of food. Also the gym doesn't have many facilities. Laundrette is a bit pricey too but its convenient to have one. Everything else is perfect

The place was near the bus stop that comes to and from the airport. The room was spacious, it has a bathtub. Towels were regularly changed. There was a free shuttle to and from the hotel to some places but you have to schedule and call ahead to book your seats. Overall, i really like our stay. It was comfortable, there was free wifi, water stations on every floor, the self laundry has a payment but you don't need soap it already has.

There were times that from exhaustion we slept in and we turned on the do not disturb sign but they still kept calling and knocking. I guess we didn't understand that we really were tired and we didn't want any housekeeping for the time being. The bus stop was uphill so our calves were burning. It's located in the more industrial side of town. The language barrier is a bit much. They don't speak english so it was a little difficult to request things and try to question them for stuff.

The hotel does not have fantastic sound proof. 1 incident, i had already put up the do not disturb sign, but the house keeper is talking on the phone right outside the room walkway. I had to open the door to tell her to lower her volume. The hotel only have super soft pillows:( requested for firm one, was told not available Hotel improvise and install a water dispenser machine. But is not providing a jar, instead wanted u to collect water using the kettle. In this case, i can only decide if i want room temperature water, i will not b able to make hot drink at the same time If night time they can have another shuttle bus at 9pm, that will be wonderful!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. First night I checked in, realised the room assigned to me was not very ideal for single lady and requested to have another room instead. Nick and his team immediately got another room for me, greatly appreciated the understanding and efficiency. Shuttle bus service is a bonus for me since I can get to know the malls nearby and worry-free to return hotel in evening. Bus uncle is very helpful, I heard he guided new comers how to get food after dinner time, he is responsive when we greeted him in different languages :) happy to meet such warm people during the stay at Dorsett. As not the first time visit HK, I just want to explore some new places, Tsuen Wan is a nice place to go, and it is near Disneyland!

Breakfast. There are limited choices of food and toaster was spoiled on the day I visited. I was upset for not having toasted bread in the cool morning.
