Lodgewood by Nina Hospitality Mong kok

1) The rooms are clean and the bathroom's flooring was a bit of a rough surface which made us feel less slippery. 2) There's a coffee machine in the lobby and you can get a coffee at anytime. I brought my tumbler instead!

1) The room was a bit small to open up my 28" luggage and forget about opening 2 luggage at the same time. 2) There was a small cockroach in the bathroom during my 2nd stay.

The location was perfect for travelling from. The mtr station is close by and from there you have two lines which is handy to get to places around HK. The hotel isn't on the main road, so it was quiet and peaceful for a good nights sleep. The room was cleaned daily and free bottle of waters were given. The room has lots of cupboard space to store your clothes and there was a good hair dryer unlike some hotels. Cutlery, kettle and plates were provided and an empty fridge which was useful for storing HK snacks and drinks. The bed was comfortable and tje air con was easily adjustable.

I would have liked a proper chair in the room rather than two benches so I can sit to read.

hotel is surround by shop selling of construction material supplier like flooring, marble tile, adhesive, waterproofing etc street area. if need to find food, need to walk abit before there is food around. other than that is fine.

Great location between Mong Kok and Prince Edward MTR. Close to shopping and restaurants. Not quite in the heat of activity of the markets nearby so it is quiet if you need that for a good night sleep. The room was decent sized for the area and well-lit. The bathroom was well-designed with a large shower, good water pressure, and plenty of hot water. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The bed was a bit stiff for my taste but not a deal-breaker for me. There was not much of a comfortable seating area in the room other than the bed (at least in the king bed room). There is bench under the tv table, but it was hard to pull out. There is currently a lot of construction during the day on the same street as hotel so be aware of that if that is something that would bother you.

I wear not happy with the double bed room for my family of 4. However, upon request, I was able to get an upgraded room for extra money which we loved. The location is great for local shopping in Mong Kok and close to all facilities. I would definately stay there again.

There was shortage of staff i.e concierge service was missing. We had to move all our luggage ourselves. The available staff were very nice to help move the items but as a business, they should offer hassle free check-in and check-out experience for their customers.

The service provided by Ray from the Front Desk was excellent and unexpected. He took time to show me a room for ocular inspection just when I told him that I was looking for a hotel to transfer to as I was not too happy with where I was currently staying. That gesture made me immediately decide that this was the hotel I was going to transfer in. The other personnel in the Front Desk were also equally helpful. Kudos to you guys!

Location was a little bit inconvenient as the hotel is surrounded by hardware stores. Getting to a convenience store was a walk away and the nearest MTR station would easily be a 10-15 minute walk; not really a big deal but may be a concern if it was raining. The bathroom was very nice but had a very distinct smell of stagnant water due to its configuration (elevated flooring of the shower). Don't let this discourage you though as the service made up for all these small concerns.

Bed and pillows comfortable. Had most facilities within the room with tea/coffee and microwave and fridge which is great. Good and nice size shower room with toiletries etc. Vending machine downstairs is a good touch with nice range of products to buy. The hot pot restaurant was nice and enjoyed the food when having dinner there with family.

The view from my room wasn’t the greatest but not a major issue given that I was spending a lot of time out of the room. An iron and ironing board would be a good addition as thankfully I do have a travel iron which I took with me.

Rooms are more spacious n bigger than normal hotel rooms in Hong Kong. Exterior of hotel doesn’t look impressive but the hotel and the rooms are very clean, the cleaning lady changes the towel n cleans the room daily. Counter staff are very friendly and helpful, provided us with directions and assisted us to book transport/ taxi to the airport. There are about 6 rooms on each floor, is quiet and provides lots of privacy. We booked 2 rooms at different timing and requested to have the 2 rooms on the same floor and the hotel acceded to our request. We have to check out one day earlier and leave HK as one of our relative passed away suddenly. Due to compassionate reasons, both Booking.Com and the hotel offered a refund to us (still in process). Thank you for the kind gesture.

However, if you are planning to go Macau, there is counter in Prince Edward area/Shanghai Street for Cross-Boundary coaches.

We love the location of the hotel. It is in Mongkok which is one of the busiest cities in HK but it is located in the quieter area. It is 5 minutes walk to MTR station and lots of restaurants and markets. Room is modern and cleaning staff did an amazing job keeping it clean. There is self serving laundry area on another floor and you can buy coins (only around US $5 for washer and dryer) at lobby in advance.

it will be great to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom.
