Eaton HK

The location was great, it is along Nathan Road and is close to Jordan Road MTR station. It is also within walking distance to central Tsim Sha Tsui, Austin Street, Knusford Terrace. The hotel also feels very secure, with the concierge near to the lift access to your room floor which is only accessible via the room key card, and there are staff around to help you if you need any help. I am a female solo traveler and felt very safe. The room was a little small but it was cozy, clean & the bed was very comfortable, and it was very well equipped and had everything that I needed-toothbrushes, ample shower gel, shampoo, hair conditioner, hair dryer, electric water kettle, complimentary drinking water/tea/coffee. And many TV channels too. The check-in and check-out was also very efficient.

I like the location of the eaton, easy to get to places and not too far from the MTR. Facilities for the GYM and pool on the top floor were quiet most of the time but staffed. With the lifts on the outside it offers the privacy for you to get to your room without passing through the lobby.

The entrance to the hotel is a little unorthodox and check in felt more like herding cattle. On the first morning of my stay I was awoken by house keeping even with a do not disturb sign on. Booking via booking.com for a double bed rather than a twin bed, the hotel still gave a twin room.

We recently had a delightful stay at this hotel and were thoroughly impressed. The hotel's location was fantastic, offering easy access to nearby attractions and amenities. The staff members were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist us with any inquiries or requests we had. Our room was comfortable and well-maintained, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience throughout our stay. We highly recommend this fine hotel to anyone seeking a memorable and convenient accommodation option. We would gladly return in the future.

Made two requests as part of our stay - 1) early checkin as our flight landed around 11am+ (hotel was not able to guarantee but we arrived on the day around noon and were informed that our room was already ready for check-in); and 2) to have a queen + single bed within our triple room (request was fulfilled). Bed was comfortable, there was a bath-tub and a shower head in the toilet, and hotel is very centrally located along the main Nathan road (few mins walk to either Jordon or YMT station). Staff are very friendly and service is good. Stayed in this hotel 30 years ago on our first visit to HK and our experience with this stay is still as good as it was then :) There is also a bustling food hall and a Michelin restaurant (reservation needed - we didn't manage to try) at the basement levels of the hotel, so there are plenty of food options even if it rains and you don't feel like heading out.

Fridge wasn't that cold so it was hard to keep items overnight. Minor point but do expect the pool to be small (~10m x 5m)

A location convenient to everything, nice nostalgic interior decor, friendly and helpful staff, various functions inside the venue, delicious breakfast buffet with many choices.

The air-conditioning in The Astor where breakfast is served is a bit too strong so the food gets cold very quickly, including coffee and tea which is poured from a themoflask, actually, during my stay, I ate mostly lukewarm food and that is a minus point, what a shame!

Our stay at Eaton HK was overwhelmingly positive, offering a fantastic base for exploring Kowloon and the rest of Hong Kong. The hotel's prime location allowed us to easily explore both Mong Kok and Victoria Harbour, making it ideal for first-time visitors to the city. With numerous buses and the MTR station nearby, getting around was effortless, and we appreciated the convenience of being able to walk or use public transport exclusively. The staff was really friendly, accommodating our early check-in with a warm welcome. Our room was not only clean but also modern and well-designed. The hotel's Soho-style ambiance, with neon lights in the lobby, added a unique touch to our experience, and we noticed several thoughtful details throughout our stay that elevated our experience. In terms of negatives, we didn't encounter any issues during our time at Eaton HK.

Second time staying at Eaton and it was just as good as the first time. The location and price just reminds us why we chose Eaton again. We also ate at The Astor this time and that was one of the best buffets we’ve had. Room is small but standard HK sized, we had one large suitcase opened and one closed up but could have kept it opened. As we went during LNY, the hotel had lion dancing organised on new years day which was so memorable as it has been years since I’ve been back for LNY. Can’t wait to come back to Eaton HK the next time we are back in HK.

Not much except the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t much and the sides if the shower tile floor is a little mouldy, but you can feel once the aircon is off it gets very stuffy and humid in the room- so keep the aircon on if you can. The price for The Astor dinner buffet was a “festive” price which was more than we saw in November. It would be nice to have a little discount for hotel guests.

As someone who is from Kowloon, Eaton was a no brainer and the best choice this time round. You cannot go wrong with it’s location, one way to TST and the other to MK. Plenty of MTR stations for you to choose from and very central to get to HK island. Abundance of food and shops to access through out the night. Lovely staff and very helpful! Easy check-in especially after a long flight and arriving near midnight.

The bed was very hard and pillow to soft but thats subjective, it got a little too much after 5 days.

I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which featured a wide selection of delicious options. Eco-Friendly Initiatives: The hotel's commitment to sustainability is commendable. Eaton HK implements eco-friendly practices, including waste reduction, energy conservation, and community engagement. It's refreshing to see a hotel taking proactive steps towards environmental responsibility. Tech-Savvy Amenities: The rooms are equipped with modern amenities, including high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TVs, and other tech-savvy features. This added convenience enhances the overall guest experience.

Room Size: One drawback was the relatively compact size of the standard rooms. While they are well-designed, the limited space might be a concern for travelers who prefer more spacious accommodations.

All the public areas of the Eaton HK were decorated in an interesting modernist retro way. Food options were excellent from the Food Court with many good quality and value options to the Michelin restaurant and the young staff were really helpful. What we hadn't expected was the quality of the music in the bar (inside and on the terrace) with some live DJ's too and which kept us in the bar for much longer than we had planned! Very central location close to Jordon MTR, Kowloon Markets etc. but still very quiet

We had expected the retro theme to extend to the bedrooms but perhaps that is planned in the future. Our Study room had a very large and comfortable bed and great city views from the floor to ceiling windows so comfortable but a little bland. Similarly the bathroom seemed very 1980's with a plastic shower curtain. Some artwork in the room and a glass shower screen would have made the room exceptional
