Comfort Inn & Suites Mandan - Bismarck

The hotel is good, clean and friendly staff. Their breakfast and option is the best I’ve seen in awhile, the cook/woman on duty on May 20&21 was absolutely the best, she attended to our needs and questions patiently and helped with our kids meal.

The only negative comment I have about this hotel is the pool side, the walls around the pool needs rework and painting, there are several visible paint cracks.

We are a married couple that like a glass of milk in the evening. So we looked in the cooler at the Market Place and it did not offer any. We then asked the clerk if there was any we could purchase and she came back with 2 glasses of milk for us. AWESOME customer service!!!! It was also awesome to have a hot breakfast to start our day with before having to leave and the person taking care of the breakfast was very friendly and happy. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Breakfast was typical of a motel of this type, however there was a wider variety of items to choose from each day. The supper served the two nights we stayed was light, but filling and saved us from going out to a restaurant.

Pool was not working when we stayed

Pleasantly surprised that there is a guest reception Monday thru Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm. The first day of check in we were served lasagna and salad...was just enough to not have to buy dinner. The tables in the breakfast area are distanced nicely due to COVID. Being served vs self service was hit and miss. Staff was wearing masks as mandated by the state during this pandemic.

I'm still trying to get used to housekeeping not coming in to at least make up the bed. The towels, not being replenished daily, I totally understand. For the reception, beer and wine are offered. As we are not drinkers, it would have been nice to have a different option offered.

I believe your breakfast was one of the best ones we had over a 13 day trip.

I believe I got a crick in my neck sleeping because all the pillows were the same, and too thick, so it would be helpful to have one of them be a thinner one, but maybe no one else has this problem.

We really like the whole facility, location, the rooms are wonderful and always neat and clean. The staff is so pleasant and ready to offer any assistance. The breakfast options are wonderful considering the pandemic. Keep up the awesome job you do!

Very friendly at arrival. Apparently they provide a small meal each evening and I was offered one since I arrived just after they stopped serving. It is a newly constructed hotel and very clean and my room was spacious and comfortable, with attentions to small details, like a nightlight in the bathroom.

I did not notice anything that could be improved.

Room wasn't cleaned during our stay. Small complaint, insignificant really. Maybe the business is short staffed

there was food left in the fridge from the previous person, house keeping did not vacuum under the desk as there was food crumbs under it and in the chair.
