We got an upgrade to a Villa and it was amazing. I did however hear (from other guests) that the size of the original room we had booked was quite small, but I never saw it. The staff was great. There was an iguana that kept coming to our balcony and defecating, and twice we had our room cleaned and they didn't clean the balcony. I told the cleaning lady when I saw her leaving our room the second time and she immediately took care of it. Overall it was a great stay!

My 9th stay at the SLS Southbeach and my favourite stay to date. I am genuinely lost for words as the service received has been nothing but outstanding by Simone, Ntiamoah, Fernando, Sebastian, Jose and the rest of the team. From the upgrade prior to my arrival, to assigning me the best room in the building, the lovely welcome note, the breakfast comp, etc. Everything was pure perfection! I absolutely love the rooms more than any other hotel I have ever stayed at, the pool is gorgeous and overall every facility is fantastic.

The place is lovely but the rooms are very small. They seem like they’re made for one person to stay in, not two. Only one hook in the bathroom, nowhere to hang wet bathing suits or an extra towel. No closet, just an open clothing rack. Nice, just not I was expecting. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping kept the room sparkling! Katsuya for dinner is fabulous!
The only real problem we encountered was the fact that every day the beach staff told us we couldn’t have a beach umbrella due to the “wind speed,” despite the fact that EVERY OTHER beachfront hotel, for as far down as you could see, had umbrellas available, opened and installed for their patrons. We definitely got more sun (burn)than we wanted! So as nice as the SLS is, sadly we would not stay here again next time due to this.

The staff is amazing! Peter our concierge was exceptional. Everything you need is in the hotel. Restaurants were wonderful, food was creative and delicious. Only downside was that out villa overlooked Hyde and the music went on to 3am. As well as having frat boys in the villa next to us. They constantly tried to open the adjoining rooms door. We thought someone was always coming in our room. Their partying went on till 5am! Overall we enjoyed our weekend, aside from the noise.

It was really bad
Not clean , staff were really bad. I reached hotel at 4.30 PM . The receptionist said room is not ready ??? I said when I can have the room , she said not sure ??? Then around 5 PM gave me room which was dirty , smell like .. anything also not ocean view as I booked . After calling 10 times one person came up and said we have no rooms left , if don’t like we can refund . What a service .. at last new staff came and arrange a room which was cleaner . Totally disappointed, will never recommend anyone staying in the hotel

The staff was awesome 👌 very attentive to your needs. From the complementary breakfast to the poolside, service as well. Never pressured us to check out on our last day. We took our time as we had a late flight. After checking out, they held our bags so.we.could continue to enjoy Miami until we were ready to go to the airport that night. Awesomeness. CA NYC

I always have a great time at the SLS. This time I was traveling alone for work and got one of the regular rooms. The rooms are tight but sporty and the bathroom is extremely well done and the shower is oversized for the size of the room. The food is always first class and Bar Centro is always a great place for food or drink anytime of the day. Ryan is an exceptional bar tender - makes everyone feel special no matter how crowed.
