The location is great, very close to everything and airport shuttle bus stop is right at the corner. The hotel provides beach towels (and even beach bags!) which was super helpful. The breakfast options are limited and service was not really there, but there are lots of breakfast places around too. The room was small but clean. Mine faced the fence and the wall of another building though.

Great location, walkable to everything in south beach. Far enough from the clubs that you can enjoy a restful night. Attached cafe also has great food and drinks.

I did not expect perfection from an older hotel, but found the floors to be sticky and scuffed up upon entering the room. Various parts of the room were less than perfect but still acceptable. It does not have that polished to perfection feel, i.e. damaged bathroom tiles, shower was a bit dirty. The AC unit was finicky and struggled to keep the room below 75.

Staff were excellent & responsive before the trip as well. They were very helpful & kind all around. Location was great, you could walk to so much around the area. Rooms were expectedly small (it is an older hotel) but clean & organized. AC was easy to work.

Wasn't sure how to get anything on the TV but on the other hand, I wasn't in Miami to watch TV. Not many outlets to plug your things into. Room had a ton of foliage outside the window which helped with privacy but meant I never really knew the time from sunlight. Nothing was really wrong, there were just little things to note & expect when staying.

The property was very nice and felt very much like home, which I loved. The location was perfect and was near everything that we needed. We loved the restaurant that was on the outside, and I was thankful that the hotel provided us with beach towels and a voucher for lounge chairs at the beach. We definitely would stay here again. The people at the front desk were very kind and we always felt welcomed.

There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like. We had an issue with the TV, since they only have a Roku stick, but since we really only were there to sleep we really didn’t need it.

Great location - in a quieter area but still walking distance to the beach and good dining/night life. The Cadet Hotel has a cute coffee shop/bar attached to it. Very aesthetically pleasing and amazing espresso martinis. The room was very cute and good sized considering what you read about in other places. Also there is an adorable courtyard with a jacuzzi. Also something that was unique to what I've seen- the mini bar actually listed prices. Staff was amazing and super helpful.They don't directly have parking but there is a parking garage down the road for $20/night.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel was clean and a great location.

If I have to find a critique, it would be that the furniture/fixtures were a little cheap, i.e. a plastic fold up chair on the patio, water dispenser in the lobby was clogged/slow, bedroom furniture appeared to be from Target. I am not complaining I just felt it didn't match up with the overall design and aesthetic of the place.

Very quaint and quiet hotel in a great location for Lincoln Lane and the beach. Comfortable room and bed. The pool area is small but there was no one there when I went. I felt like I was the only one there. They give you beach passes that entitle you to chairs and towel, but no umbrella.

There is a bar in the lobby but it wasn't clear if/when it was open. The bathroom has little counter space and the shower does not have a shelf for soaps.

Loved this little boutique hotel, very charming and quaint. The staff are amazing and the little coffee shop is very relaxing. Loved the coffee and pastries (beer is good, too). Near to shops and restaurants if you don't want to eat at the hotel (but the food is great at the hotel and the price is comparable). Slept really well. The bed was comfy. Will definitely stay here again!

Location was awesome; staff were hospitable without being overwhelming. It is located in the heart of the action while being located on a quiet street; hotel is nice and quiet at night too. Restaurants, bars, clubs, beach etc. are all within a 5 minute walk of the hotel. Great weekend vibes at the hotel, with free jazz and piano concerts in the lobby and outdoor garden space; pro-tip try out the coffee in the hotel as well; great little space to relax and enjoy some coffee and breakfast! ANOTHER PLUS: they do offer a limited number of parking spaces right next to the property (assigned spot at an additional charge of $25 per day). Literally a LIFESAVER and one of the biggest pluses of the hotel!

AC could be alot stronger. You have to keep it on full blast to keep the room cool. Bathroom could use a little more counter space, but overall the room was mostly functional.

Everything about the stay was exceptional. Super friendly staff and great service. Room was on the smaller side but very cozy and clean. The complimentary beach chairs and towels were very convenient. Breakfast was fresh and came out very quickly. Price point for breakfast is one of the best I have seen in the area for the amount of food that you get. Location was ideal because of the proximity to the beach and restaurants and because the hotel is on a quiet side street we got the added bonus of a full night’s sleep. Will definitely book with Cadet again next time I’m in Miami Beach.
