We were looking for a motel near the cruise port in Fort Lauderdale and needed a one night stay before getting to Princess Cruise's pier. Ft Lauderdale has high rates and we wanted a place just for sleep with clean, newer furnishings which this place had. Bedroom was small but had all the updated colors and conveniences. It was also unique for being an older building having a very tidy outdoors too with flowering plants and a very charming garden patio with comfy chairs in the back of the building. The manager recommended the Italian restaurant across the street which was very good and convenient as was our 1-2 miles? drive the next morning to our ship. Price was good for this convenience and not needing a name hotel.

Nothing for us but some people might have wanted more room with sitting chairs but it did have a desk and suitcase area with clothes rack. It's in a commercial area - not bad feeling though. The beaches weren't far away but we didn't have time to stay longer. Have been there before.

It was located in a secluded area, which was great. The bed was comfortable, and it was nice having a microwave and refrigerator. The wifi worked and we were able to watch our favorite shows through Roku. Shower was spacious and put out strong pressure and neverending hot water. Check in and check out was a breeze.

Room was always too hot or too cold. It was difficult to keep it at a constant temperature. Also, I could hear when people took showers or coughed because the walls are very thin. Plates and silverware would have been nice to use with the microwave.

Despite being close to a busy road, this hotel truly is an oasis. The lovely courtyard with lots of seating was a lovely spot that we enjoyed both for sitting out in the evening and morning. The location was within walking distance to restaurants and to one of the stops of the Hop On-Hop Off Water Taxi. The staff were friendly and accommodating. They were able to store our luggage for us prior to check-in. Our room was large, bed was comfortable and noise was minimal. Although we didn't use it much, it was great to have a full kitchen.

The only suggestion that I would make is that the room could have used a box of facial tissue and the addition of a small coffee table in front of the sofa to hold coffee cups etc. Only minor additions :).

The courtyard and the garden full of trees and flowers from Florida were purely amazing! There were a lot of comfy places to sit in the garden and enjoy the surroundings, listening to the birds singing! The room was spacious and clean, the AC was working very well, the process of late check-in went smoothly and the staff provided us all the necessary information in advance, so there were no issues with that. We liked very much this place and the only regret is that we haven't stayed here much longer. The personnel is very nice, too! :)

Too many mosquitos in the outside sitting areas, but it's not the hotel's fault; this is normal, considering the hot and humide climate from Florida (visited the place in June).

The name "Oasis" matches with what you'll find there - nice bungalows with a great garden area where to have drinks, dinners or breakfasts. Starbucks for a breakfasts and a great Italian restaurant "Osteria Acqua e Farina" (highly recommended) for dinners are just across the street. Walking distance to the Lauderdale Yacht Club what was our main venue during our stay. Spacious rooms with A/C, fridgeµ. Beds were done and towels changed daily.

Seems like we didn't get enough information about WiFi options. The network mentioned in the first place didn't work well in all rooms and later appeared there were other networks across the property. The floors could have been cleaned more often, otherwise all clean and fine.

Service offered by staff. They returned a call I made to them prior to our trip asking about alternate check-in procedures in case our flight was delayed. The hotel was willing to put a key in a lockbox on the door of our room should we arrive after 8 PM ET (end of check-in period). We actually arrived around 7:45 pm; the person working the front desk went to remove the lockbox and help me in person with check in. Room was very clean and location was quiet, considering it was near to a major north/south street leading to FLL airport. Complimentary water, coffee, and tea helped us get going the next day when we checked out. Again, staff at front desk was very friendly and helpful with check out.

We weren't expecting TV service to be a selection from various streaming services - Roku, Hulu, Netflix, etc. We don't subscribe to streaming services at home, so we felt lost for what to watch on any of the services. This isn't really the hotel's fault, but having a few channels of "old-time" broadcast TV - CBS, NBC, ABC - available would have been nice.

this property is absolutely gorgeous. we stayed in a cabana suite which was huge, super spacious with a big comfortable bed, food prep facilities including a big fridge, table and chairs and lounge area. bathroom was spacious with a lovely walk in shower too. the ground of the property are probably what I love most, somebody likes their gardening. the plants are absolutely fantastic, I could have sat out all day - it was such a nice touch. I marked the property down 1 from being a 10 and this was purely based on location but it is still located well, just not really walking to olas blvd but it’s 5 mins in a taxi and they’re super easy to get so it wasn’t a problem at all! there is also a wallgreens across the street to stock up on drinks, as well as a Starbucks and I hop all around to grab coffee/breakfast.

The Oasis has provided an excellent location for our several cruises out of Ft. Lauderdale. It has some old time "charm", but it is well-maintained and has updated features in some of the rooms, as we have stayed in six or so over the past couple of years. If we didn't care for the place, we would not have returned after the first visit.

I haven't found anything that has ever been a "deal killer." The heating system takes some getting used to, but on a particularly cold night (by south Florida standards) the front desk was able to provide an additional heater.

We stayed here before and after taking a Royal Caribbean cruise. The rooms were clean and spacious. Check in and out were really smooth and staff were so helpful. Big thank you to Nelson who rearranged our booking and upgraded us to a VIP room at no extra charge when I had booked for the wrong date. He certainly was our Christmas saviour and I can't thank him enough. The hotel is ideally located for the airport and cruise terminal. Will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. There is a Starbucks opposite and plenty of restaurants and food outlets nearby.

Good location for us to get to the cruise port. The staff was accommodating to have the room cleaned a few minutes early while we waited in the very lovely garden area. Very comfortable beds. They have obviously taken an old facility and made good improvements.

We had the room with two beds. Not much room for anything else but what was there was good. No coffee, nothing for breakfast, not even a pre-packaged muffin. The traffic made it difficult to pull out except for south which was the way to a pizza place. The prices here like everywhere in Ft Lauderdale are very high for pre-cruise so it was a good price considering the options, but not a good value. We need another reservation in a few months and the prices are even higher so I’ll look further away.
