Location is very convenient, especially nice that I could be dropped off in front of entrance by my family without them having to park. Room was spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast is available until 9:30. I was disappointed when I went to breakfast at 9 am, and there were no more eggs left. No one seemed to be replenishing them. It seemed that the phone volume was at maximum in the room, yet I had a hard time hearing it. I wasn't sure if it was working correctly. And it wasn't clear to me that I need to request to have my towels replenished. I am older and have not traveled in a long time. Some of these policies were new to me.

It was just nice! I loved how the interior of the room looked. It fit the scenery of walnut creek so well. Everything was so quiet and cozy, it calmed my nerves as I was there due to a surgery at aspen. Also, I never ate at chick fil a during my stay here but for anyone who relies on Lyft or taxi often it's convenient that there's a food option right next door to walk to. The complimentary breakfast was also beyond my expectations and more than what I've seen other hotels provide. Will definitely come back again just to get away and recharge for my days off or something

The Hotel was a great place to stay. The staff were very professional and go out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. My room was way more than I ever anticipated.
Ive got to tell you Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek is the bestvI have ever been to. The room was way beyond my expectations! The staff were also way beyond my expectations. I plan on staying at Holiday Inn Express Walnut Creek again!!! I will also make recommendations to those who want to visit Walnut Creek. Thank you very much for allowing me to stay at your property. Reakfast was great, could use more items for plant based eaters such as nuts and raisins to go with oatmeal and nut butter to put in toast. Almond or Oat Milk for coffee and cereal.
On the Booking.com listing it said our room had 2 queen beds, when we arrived at property they said they do Not have any queen beds on site only full sized or king beds. We are not extremely large people but full size beds aren’t big enough.and I would have chosen another property had I known.

Accessible to every place we wanted to go.Nice, friendly Dietary staff with Eppie and the other staff ( didn’t get his name)always replenished the foods.Housekeeping was helpful and courteous.
A day before our check out, I requested for a 2 pm check out to a guy I was familiar with and another woman by the reception desk interrupted and said The latest check out for you would be 1::00. I explained that our daughter works and can’t pick us up till 2 pm and our flight is at 10 pm. We stayed from January 5 - 24 and felt that a reasonable request would be granted.

I told the host that my wife had a hard time walking and he put us in 121 a long way from the front desk and elevator . It was noisy right across from house keeping and right over the entrance to the garage and close to the freeway. That location was a big disappointment !

Overall everything was great. Except for my second night stay. There was lots of noise coming from both opposing wall to my room. One of the noise in the morning sounded like someone was pull a large wire and had a zipping sound. The other noise woke me up around 4 in the morning from the next room (slight banging sound). They were having intercourse and later had the shower going. The sound sure travel great through the wall and interrupted my sleep. These are the only complaint I have.

The reception desk was extremely informative and friendly. We were exhausted from our trip and just wanted to rest before visiting friends. It was quiet and cool, considering the excruciating heat of the day. ONLY one annoyance was the neighbors' dog who yapped every time we walked by the door to head out of the hotel. But that's beyond the hotel's control.
I was not amused by the annoying barking dog in a room nearby. But that's what happens when you're not used to pets. I totally understand that the hotel had nothing to do with a pet owner's annoying pup.

The location was ideal as it was only a few miles from my parent's house in Walnut Creek. The room had many of the creature comforts I was looking for. The room was fairly large and spacious, quiet, and comfortable.
The mattress was a bit soft and had some dips in it. The door to the bathroom squeaked when opening/closing.
