The food was very good. My husband enjoyed the corned beef hash and eggs. I had avocado toast.

My husband was asked what kind of toast he wanted (as if it was part of the meal). He never received it. We were billed for it. The fact that it was presented as if it came with the meal plus then he didn’t get it and was billed was what we didn’t like.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was excellent. Downtown Lafayette is so cute with lots of great shots and restaurants, and is so easily accessible from the hotel, as is Lafayette, Reservoir, and BART. The pool was well heated for a winter stay.

The pool seating area is rather small. It was just fine for a winter day, as there were not many others using the space, but in warmer months, it can get very full and be hard to find a spot..

Exceptionally clean. Comfortable and beautiful and nice food. PET NOTE: There is an excellent kennel next door.

Housekeeping knocked, I was doing my make up and let them know. Hours prior to the check out. Continued to knock, which i felt was intrusive.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. My room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. The staff was helpful and friendly. I loved the pool and poolside food service.

The underground parking was being remodeled so parking was a little hit and miss but once it’s completed it won’t be an issue.

The renovation is lovely. The rooms are gorgeous and well kept.

We weren’t informed when asked if we had a car, that there was a fee for self-parking, so when we were checking out and told it was $25 a night, that was not the greatest customer experience.

Beds and pillows were wonderful. So comfortable - so important. Room was clean. So was the hotel over all.

Nothing really, I totally recommend. We didn’t see the pool or spa and the restaurant was good, so was the food, our waitress was great but they were under staffed and so service was slow but not really a big deal, just mentioning.

The location was great and everything from cleanliness to staff was fantastic. We only stayed one night (quick wedding trip) and our only disappointment was that we didn’t book an extra night .

Honestly, parking cost. It seems like a frivolous thing to charge overnight guests for. Just an easy way to gouge people.

Beautiful property with spacious rooms and a very relaxing pool area. A little outdated but very charming and clean. We had breakfast in our room, the food was good. Staff was very friendly. The property has so much potential, if they updated it a little, it could be luxurious.

The room was spacious and beautifully renovated, with nice furniture and new carpeting. Everything was very clean, and the staff were all kind and professional. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Beautiful property with a unique feel. Pool and hottub area was charming although there was some road noise. Our deluxe 2 queen room had lofted ceilings on the 4th floor which was an added bonus. Really pretty lobby - can sit and enjoy fireplace and buy wine/bottled cocktails/snacks at reception desk.

Our room was facing west and there is a dog boarding there. Woke up to quiet but still audible sounds and throughout day of dogs barking or whining. Ask for a room NOT facing this direction and you will be happy.
