The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I was in Walnut Creek dealing a death in my family. I had to bring into the hotel boxes and boxes of paperwork to rifle through. They helped me get rid of a boatload recycled paper. Since I had to spend so much time in my room they brought up a microwave for me!! I could bring in to-go and hunker down without having to leave the room. Amazing.

They are not a ‘green’ hotel at all. They use a coffee maker in the room that requires plastic throw away holders. At the reception desk they give away small plastic bottles of water. The small lotion and shampoo bottles are one use only. There was not a recycle trash can in the room, so very basic! I was shocked at their wastefulness. This is the Bay Area, get with the program. This would be one big reason I would not return to this hotel. A good example of a eco friendly hotel is The Orchard Garden hotel in San Fransico. When looking for hotels you did search for eco friendly hotels. It would have been nice if they had room service, but the microwave they offer me made this a non-issue.

A big room and comfortable. Hotel is very close by Bart Station (6 minutes) and Sprout Farm shop (10 min). The hotel has a nice club where to swim and play basketball.

When I made the reservation Booking presented the room with balcony and the room to have the view at to swimming pool. In reality I received a room without any balcony and the view on the back of the hotel at the parking. Nobody came to clean the room all our sejurn ( 10 nights !) It is very important for people to know how often is cleaning their room during their sejurn.Your presentation on Booking it wasn't real ! Please adjust information about room and clean services. Thank you !

Didn’t realize it was a Marriott property. Was surprised by the service and facility. Was a Bonvoy/Marriott member for years. The last 5-7 yrs every place we stayed had something wrong with the room, hotel lacked cleanliness and overall they were horrible. I used up all my miles and stopped booking any Marriott property. The Walnut Creek Marriott was the worst of all, every time we booked there the place was not good at all. This property may make me return to the Brand. Just booked The Marriott Waterfront in Seattle for 3 days in mid September. Fingers crossed!

We really liked that we could use the Bay Club during our stay and there are trails by the hotel for biking and running. There staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for late check out and they were able to accommodate our request.

there is no safety box in the room. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night because someone smoked in the garage. The hotel had to evacuate everyone at 3 am in the morning. After about 30 mins, we were able to go back to our room. But then the alarm went on and off for about two hours. Not sure why they couldn't just turn it off. We didn't get our sleep there on our first night.

The property was beautiful. Staff was excellent! Very friendly very professional very helpful.

I loved the lobby. We sat in one of the sitting areas, had coffee watching people and doggies! It really seemed as if your staff liked working there. An all around good vibe.

Lack of signs on where to park what is the Urban parking for. No way to use elevator in parking area.no signs in room on restaurant in hotel change of hours. Double bed times 2 but one robe I hope there was only suppose to be one .only one person at desk when I was checking in and wait time was lonh

Super comfy beds and location for hotel

Swim pool staff was rude. He was not responsive for customer’s request and treat hotel guest as an extra since this swim pool somewhat look like operate by a club member. I do not feel dignified but kind of ignored from the staffs in swim pool. I feel very frustrated because of that.

Staff was nice! Front desk, coffee bar and pool side services! Great staycation!

Not much I didn't like...I typically don't use room services on a short stay. I am familiar with the property so my expectations were met.

Staff were super helpful and friendly. Parking was easy, restaurant on site was good. Little snack bar was nice to have towards closing time. Didn't get to use the fitness clubs at all but looked great!
