Ibis Styles Lyon Centre - Gare Part Dieu

Prime location for those traveling to/from the Lyon Part Dieu train station -- this hotel is located directly next to the entrance of the station, as well as the rental car companies attached to the station. Despite being in such a central location, it was quiet and we had a good night's sleep. The room was very clean, modern, and efficiently furbished with all necessities. Parking is conveniently located in the building's basement. I would gladly stay again when in transit.

The laundry service was quite expensive, but it was a standard rate shared among the 3 hotels next to each other (in the same large building); there were no laundromats nearby.

Frankly speaking, I was not very happy at first at this Ibis hotel. However, the longer I stayed, the more I enjoyed my days there (5 nights altogether). The staff at the reception didn’t seem very welcoming or friendly at first, but they warmed up to me as I did to them later on. In fact, the staff is probably the favorite part of my stay. They were very helpful and friendly! The room turned out to be better than my first impression because I discovered that the room really was soundproof (a concern for me as I am noise-sensitive), and the bed and pillows were so comfortable that they afforded me a good night’s sleep.

I think the breakfast could offer more of a variety of food. Also, by 10 a.m., there was often not much food left to eat by that time. Also, at first, I didn’t like the fact that one has to ring a buzzer each and every time to be let in. It was annoying to me at first, but I suppose I got used to it.

Everything about the hotel and location was fantastic. We right in front of the SNCF train station. Staff were very polite and helpful. I did nor like the fact that the drain in the sink or shower did not work. We stayed in room 305. We did report the problem to staff before we left Hopefully it has been repaired.

The drain in the sink and shower did not work properly. The shower overflowed and would have made a horrible mess if I had not cut the water and waited while it drained.

Nice breakfast and easily accessible as it is opposite a Rhônexpress tram station which directly comes from the airport. The room had a fantastic few of the city.

Honestly the room was very normal and I couldn't tell the difference between this Iblis styles and the normal iblis. The builtin hairdryer wasnt powerful but it sort of did the Job

Like all Ibis Styles, simple, functional and comfortable. Very good location next to Lyon's main railway station and close to the main public transport lines. You can dine at the Mercure hotel restaurant (same group), in the same building.

Very poor breakfast for the price. But that is a general problem with French hotels: too expensive for what they offer.

Excellent location next to train staion and nearby big shopping complex. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Hotel provides free water dispensar and coffee at the lobby which is useful. Rooms with good acoustics - you cant hear noise from cars and trains even though its surrounded by train tracks and roads. Helpful staff at the reception.

I only stayed here for 5 hours because my flight got canceled and I needed to catch an early train, everything about Ibis is perfect. It’s literally next to the train station so you don’t need to worry about transportation and getting there. Room is huge, well-equipped. Great shampoo/conditioner. The staff is friendly and supportive. They saw us in a hurry to catch the train, so they gave us a bag to pack our breakfast to go.

We absolutely love the stay. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I have to mention the bed, we have stayed in more than 10 hotels during this family trip, the bed in IBIS Lyon is extremely good. The location is extremely good as well, just outside the main train station. The breakfast is outstanding. Good value for money for all.

Great location, I took the first train down from Paris airport and needed to sleep and I'm glad I didn't need to travel far to this hotel. The staff were very lovely and could communicate to me in English. They could also hold my luggage for me as my departing train doesn't leave until 6 hours after checkout which gave me room to explore the city!

The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, the staff were nice and helpful even though I don't speak much French. I also liked the restaurant where dinner was served.

The room was too warm, as it was last time I stayed there. I left the window open since I couldn't control the room temperature and was awakened by loud announcements from the train station very early. The hotel itself was quiet. Also there are only two electrical outlets in the room.
