I’m not going to lie I got so scared after reading some of the reviews !! therefore I was incredibly pleasantly surprised - staff is very nice , hotel is clean and cosy , room is spacious and clean. Pool is also well up-kept and the gym is spacious! Location is railway station-like, as you should expect. Had a great great stay !!

Only taking one point off because the smell in the room was unpleasant upon entering, likely because of not opening windows. However as the windows were openable I could air it so not a big inconvenience at all!

the proximity with the main train station, the good price-quality, and the room is great enough. Internet works ok, breakfast is also good.

There is no room service if you get les than 8 nights. I went 2 times and the second time I noted already some issues in the room. The reception is effective, but if you arrive at second, you have to wait a bit. There is one elevator for guests so it takes a while when many people are using.

- The location is perfect. - The staff were very friendly. - The communication was always in time and the info very clear.

- The caution system. It is a way of spoiling trust, it indicates more a desire for profit than a quality service. There are other ways to insure against irresponsible customers.

The room is of a good size and has also a small kitchen that we did not use. It has a swimming pool which I also did not use (as we only stayed overnight), but it looked clean and not crowded. It is well placed for a night in transit, being close to the train station and the Rhone Express which goes to the airport. The apart hotel is also very good for a medium stay of 3-7 days, as it has some cooking facilities and a (too) small table.

The check-in hour is at 5 pm, which is rather late for all standards. It is announced everywhere, so we expected that. However, some rooms were available from 3 pm and some other people were given the chance to check-in at 3 pm. We had to travel from early morning because of all the cancellations due to a big SNCF strike in France, so we arrived earlier than we planed. I had specifically the impression that people who did not book through booking.com were favored at check-in, but I may be wrong and other criteria were applied.

1. Location in walking distance from/to SNCF station however not conveniently linked to the city centre (15min walk to the nearest green line). 2. Damp stain on the bathroom ceiling. 3. No soundproofing (prepare to hear neighbors taking shower). 4. Room door needed a good push to ensure locked otherwise opened by itself even with the pressed lock button.

Lack of toiletries and coffee provided (only 1x per person). No extra towels for the pool. No room service and no option to request a bed/towel change. Privacy in the room (bathroom didn’t have a door). Check in at 5pm is too late (especially when you have to take the rubbish with you and leave the room in a decent state, I don’t see the need for a 6 hour cleaning window). No access to the kitchenette.

Very convenient for a little stop before taking the train the following morning. The subway is also not very far and it is easy to get to the city center in a matter of minutes

For a small stay I needed some utilities in the bathroom which were not available (toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion…) but I believe it is for the environment that it is not provided. The property is located in a construction area currently so it is a little noisy and difficult to drive there.

It was really well equipped for an overnight stop off. Bed was exceptionally comfortable and the studio was very big. Fatima on reception was very helpful and thankfully spoke good English.

Although there was tea/coffee making facilities in the room with sugar, there wasn’t any milk provided and when my husband popped downstairs in the morning to ask for a small amount of milk for our coffee he was told no. This is ridiculous. Why out tea, coffee, sugar and a kettle but no milk. Apart from this, no complaints.

The room was well sized with all necessary equipment, it was clean and tidy. The gym and swimming pool were an added bonus. The location was good, we came from the airport on the tram. It is only about 10 mins walk from the station, with both bus and tram on its doorstep. Location was also good for bar/cafe and Westfield shopping centre.

We didn't try the breakfast so unable to comment on that

Clean, comfortable bed, tidy and spacious room, really well located for some that come by train. Well isolated rooms and quiet common areas. Modern and all brand new. The swimming pool is also well mantained.

For me, it has been atypical to leave in the hotel a deposit for the stay. In addition, the rules were a bit confusing, they talked about to leave the room clean and put your rubbish out; I had to ask if they were expecting that I clean the room, when I assumed that there will be a cleaning service. I understand that those rules were for apartments with kitchen, I guess. I think you could just adjust the information that you provide in the informative sheet for each case.
