Upon our arrival the team was so welcoming and helpful. It was the start of our honeymoon and they added a bottle of bubbles and a beautiful note on our bed congratulating us. They recommended a restaurant - although the in-house restaurant was what we chose, the food was not only generous, we could have shared 1 dish between us, but it was delicious as well. Secure parking was available as well which is always a bonus. This will definitely be our go to accomodation in Gladstone.

There was nothing to dislike. We loved our stay.

Everything was pretty smooth - nothing to report on.

The meal at the Oak and Vine was horrendous. I took a photo of how bad it was. 2/2 experiences now - January and April - when it comes to food, expect crap. I ordered Carbonara which looked like slop at a pig trough. Massive serving that looked like someone had run down the shop and got some Nanda spaghetti from the 711. The stuff over the top of it is supposed to be Parmesan cheese I think. The chicken that was also grabbed from the 711 was a packet chicken (I know because I used to serve this on lunches for the kids) and was cold though the spaghetti was hot. It was pretty disgusting, but I was tired and hungry and I ate it, but it was probably the worst carbonara I have ever seen.

The spacious room had a good sized fridge, cooking facilities, nice big comfy bed, plenty of room to put our bags and clothes, roomy shower, sofa area to relax and watch tv and balcony to sit on. Washing machine and dryer came in handy too. Undercover secure parking included. I will definitely stay again.

Pool was in the shade most of the time so was too cold to use. Cldn't get into our room on the morning of our last day after we went out for breakfast.

The rooms are very clean and spacious and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The bed and pillows where comfortable which was great for a good nights sleep.

The Television in my room was not working, and could not be fixed, and maintenance staff do not work on weekends. I was offered another room, but none had the same view so was not worth it. The room actually two televisions and neither of them worked.

It was very comfortable, clean and had a great view. It was also in the centre of town so it made it much easier for us to get to our restaurant for dinner. The staff weren't overly friendly but they were polite and told us without asking where we could park our car for the night. Payment and checking/ in/out was easy

The staff could have been a little more friendly. They were very formal and although they gave us information about where to park they didn't seem like they would want to go out of their way to help you.

The room was actually a mini-suite, with sitting area, balcony, and kitchen -- and a washer and dryer (a godsend). Very attractive and comfortable, but the front desk staff was the crowning jewel of the stay. They welcomed us, provided all sorts of info, booked a taxi for the next morning, and then helped locate my cell phone lost in the taxi that brought us.

The restaurant had limited and not especially appetizing offerings.

The rooms were spacious and clean with the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. I aircon was amazing, especially with a cyclone north and horrible humidity. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A perfect location to shops and cafes and a walk to the waterfront.

Dryer took a long time as its timer kept turning the machine off.

From the time of check-in, everything went smoothly. The room was bright, airy and very clean. The views were also spectacular! The hotel itself is very convenient to the CBD, and the internal walkway which leads to Oak and Vine and Coffee Club means you can access fantastic food even when it's raining without getting wet.

The pool could be heated (although it's outdoors). Also, the gym is quite small, so definitely not for anyone looking to train for a major crossfit event (but great just for a quick overall fitness workout). The car parks are also quite tight, so be careful when finding one.

The view was good for Gladstone, the room is comfortable and spacious without losing its cosiness. Clean and everything you need. Central to town and plenty of parking although it gets a little full after 4pm. Lovely staff and will match your online booking price if like me you extend your stay and book at the desk. Unlike motels the oaks and a few other large establishments are soundproofed which makes a difference you can't hear anyone unless their on the balcony. All in all I didn't stay for 3 nts for nothing.

Only a few glitches. My microwave went on the blink. They were quick to offer a solution, but the maintenance guy never showed. So I used a pan the next night. We were evacuated during a false alarm with a fire alarm, but it was good to see most people reacting well. However it would have been more comforting to have a staff member come to see we all came out. We all used the lift in retrospect I think we should have used the stairs. The only other irritation is the TV channels are messed up and one channel entirely missing. But no big dramas.
