Curtis Central Apartments

Spotlessly clean and central to most places in Gladstone.

That reception was closed when we arrived (4pm) and that our car park had someone else’s car parked in it for approx the first 24 hours or so and then someone else parked in it when we went out for a bit. The car park space was clearly numbered. Reception remained closed for the entire time that we stayed there - or at least it wasn’t open during the stated weekend opening times. When I called about payment, I got told that she was covering 2 properties as there was a staff shortage on Gladstone, in fact “in the whole world”. Tone wasn’t great.

Due to traffic conditions, we weren't sure if we'd make it in time for check-in and communications were difficult due to a lack of reception. To their credit, the hotel did the utmost to keep us informed and ensure our booking was safe.

As seemed to be common on this trip, reception hours were "rubbery" so despite arriving before their scheduled closure, we arrived to locked doors. No big deal - we simply used the after hours safe and found everything we needed.

There was lots of space and the 2 bedrooms were on opposite sides both having ensuite one with a tub. Oh so nice, rooms very spacious and beds comfy (though to soft for me). Big fridge and had everything you needed to cook with. Pet friendly many tenants/guest had dogs.

Didn’t like reception was closed around 6pm, someone parked in our allocated space, a few undesirables were hanging around in carpark, people got in to lift drinking alcohol and I couldn’t work out the oven to cook.

The apartment had everything for an overnight stay (or more days) and was very clean. Centrally located. Allocated undercover parking spot. Good selection of tv channels. Good cooktop. Value for money.

There was a bit of a mouldy smell throughout the unit. The air conditioner filter in each of the bedrooms needs to be cleaned.

The property was spacious with two individual bedrooms and aircon throughout. This made our stay in the heat of summer so much more enjoyable compared to previous Gladstone motel stays in a variety of accomodation. The position was central and close to the Marina for a trip to Heron Island.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Communication was fantastic. The cleaners were great and helped with everything we needed everyday. The view was great, the unit was very roomy and great for a family to stay for a week. I would highly recommend.

Didn't have a pool

On 2 nights we returned to the secure car park, and someone had parked in our units allocated car parking space.

Great location. Very clean. Helpful staff. Very comfortable apartment. Great value for money. Gladstone and the beach areas are hidden gems of central Queensland. Will definitely be coming back.

The apartment was spacious and well set out for a small family to comfortably stay for a week or more. Well set out kitchen and living area. Reception and cleaning staff both friendly and delightful to interact with.

The beds were hard and not very comfortable. We could have booked a room next door, with a better view. In room spa. Rooftop pool... but we didn't really shop around first

Awesome large apartment, lots of room and great views of the river. Fair price for what you get. Great for travelling with friends or another couple as you get a room and bathroom each.

There was no ice in the freezer
