Travelodge Torrelaguna

The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The facilities were very clean and well decorated. The room was more spacious than we thought and very clean as well. There was soap for hands on the sink and also for the whole body in the shower. And the bed was super comfy with two pillows per person super comfy also. We only stayed for a few hours, got there towards 6PM and had to leave at 4AM, so we didn’t use other services in or near the hotel. We were very pleasantly surprised with the staff and facilities though, this stay exceeded our expectations. :-)

It has a convenient location if you are doing things in the area as my case. It’s also quite easy to get from/to airport by one direct bus.

They only offer pay internet in the room or if you book the room online in their website (apparently). At this stage any decent hotel should have internet in the room included in the price (my honest opinion). They offer free internet in the shared places but I think that’s not enough, specially considering the price you pay for the room.

The room was a particular pleasure for my cat, who loved the view of people walking by. I didn't take breakfast because it was too expensive and I eat very little. The linens on the bed were a kind of polyester material and I sweated through them every night, even when I lowered the room temperature considerably. The mattress was quite good.

By reserving through Booking.com, I had no free WiFi in the room, which was a drawback. The walls were rather thin, so I heard my neighbours showering and also the radio/TV. Even at 00:30 hours on occasion.

The entire facility was very clean and modern, the beds were comfortable, the shower and bathroom facilities were good, and the staff members were friendly and accommodating. There are several cafes, bakeries, and a small supermarket in very close proximity.

The nearest Metro station is about a 10-minute walk away, which is not bad unless it is raining and you have luggage! In-room Wi-Fi is NOT included (3.9€ per day), which was not clear from the description. Breakfast is 9€ so we normally went to one of the nearby cafes.

Location was perfect, with a taxi stop next door and rate to airport of ~14 euro. The metro was 10 min walk away in a very safe area and that allowed to reach city centre in 15min or so. There were several restaurants and a good supermarket next to the hotel so great convenience if visiting with children.

The only downside was the breakfast which was not very good except for the sweet pastries (those were nice and fresh!!).

hotel right next to a bus stop for easy access into Madrid’s center. easy. also a neighborhood with interesting dining options and a supermarket rifht across the street. i/we were there on a covid protocol and the hotel staff was more than accommodating as we kept extending the stay with each positive test. the hotel is nothing fancy, but it’s clean, within budget, and a good option should you be either on a quick stay over while beginning your trip or on the way out. MAD Barajas is relatively close by. terminal 4 a bit further away. great staff. great coffee at reception.

The personnel is very friendly. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and is very flexible to keep your luggage before check in and after check out, so you can still do things in the day without having carry your luggage everywhere. Hotel is close to the airport, so you can reach it in no time. Very comfortable bed and room, especially for the price.

When your room is close to the door of the hallway, you can hear the guests coming in and out and talking late at night or early morning. It could be good to hang a sign in the hallway to keep quiet. I am sure we could have asked for another room not close to the door in the hallway if we asked for it, but our stay was so short that we didn't put the effort.

Nice clean room comfortable and kept clean every day.The staff were very friendly and approachable.Travel links really good from hotel bus stop right outside front door taking you right into city centre the bus is every 10 minutes.There is aiso a taxi rank around the corner.The metro is 10 minute walk.Also the Airport connection by bus is 5 minutes waik from hotel and is cheap.

Could maybe benifit by having tea or coffee facilitates in room as is available in British Travelodges.The hotel is a little far from the city centre but the transport links are excellent and cheap.

Room, bed, breakfast

A little bit difficult navigation after the elevator exit (only 1st time, as there are no signs where to go, and the doors are closed). Electronic keys are tricky (need to insert-eject really quickly to the tray to work). No own parking (as the parking underground the hotel (does not belong to the hotel) is awful and rated 1* on google maps - I know what I say)

Location was good as we came for the mad cool fest plus the bus that went to the festival stopped right out side the hotel. Hotel was nice and clean and staff were very friendly. Not far from the airport either and great supermarkets and little cafes and restaurants near by.

The walls were a little thin meaning you could hear people out in the corridor when in your room and the room was basic but met our needs as we were hardly in the hotel. A fridge would have been nice.
