The receptionist (Raul) was very professional, friendly and helpful and the gentleman attending the breakfast room was also lovely. The room was very clean and spacious enough (double room) and mine faced the back of the property and was very quiet (when the man next door wasn't in his room) The shower was powerful and instant. The breakfast was okay. It had croissants and breads and one of those conveyor belt toasters and it had butter and jams, but the cheese and ham was in single serving spread form, instead of just normal ham and cheese slices. I didn't venture to try the ham paste so I can't comment on those and they might be very nice, who knows. It did have some fruit though. It's right next to the metro with direct line to the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Paper thin walls. I could hear the guest next door talk on the phone, go to the bathroom, snore..

The breakfast (continental) was very nice, and the room was clean and big enough for a couple. A subway station is very close to the hotel entrance (20 meters or so). The hotel has a parking in the same building (just by the entrance) that is not expensive (15 EUR/day). Parking there may take some maneuvering, but not complex.

During the nights -specially the first one- we heard some noises (some person was coughing and breathing very heavily: something you may not hear or very low during the day but with the silence of the night... we could hear it very clearly) -in fact, it might come from a nearby building-, but those noises were strong enough to wake us up and keep us that way for some time.

Rooms are relatively comfortable, although somewhat small, but very clean. Plenty of storage space. Although located on a busy avenue, it has excellent public transport connections (metro/bus). If you go by car, just park it at the hotel and make use of Madrid's public transport (very clean, and safe). Good Wifi connection. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast is pretty basic. No fresh ham, cheese or eggs, and the bread a bit stale (need to toast it). The shower head is a bit uncomfortable as is the very undeep sink

The location is close to the subway, which is the main advantage. Accommodation conditions are good, everything is clean, the bathroom is spacious. If you are not very demanding and just want to explore Madrid, this is an OK solution. Note the very good shower, with excellent water pressure and the fact that the room is equipped with air conditioning. We did not serve breakfast, we preferred to eat in the city, where a breakfast costs about 10 euros per person.

The biggest drawback is the lack of a refrigerator. If you go in the summer, when the temperatures are very high, the lack of a refrigerator will seriously affect you. The double beds are a bit hard and not very big. The hotel does not have a restaurant, except for breakfast. The price of the room seemed a bit high for what it offers. Given these aspects, the categorization of the 2-star hotel is correct, but an update will make the hotel much more attractive!

Very good hotel I will come again there. Right price for good services. Very good the parking under the hotel at a quite reasonable tariff per day. Staff is excellent and always helpful with nice manners.

Breakfast is ok, but not really rich of many different things. Anyway that meal is good, and it was enough. In and out from the parking with the car is through tight spaces, so... be careful :) Anyway... really satisfying stay. Thank you staff !

Nice hotel with clean and quiet rooms, easy access to the city center with the metro. The possibility to park the car in the hotel underground. Wi-fi OK.

The breakfast was only basic without ham and cheese to choose. Parking was convenient but the cost is pretty high (14 EUR/day), especially if you have to stay only during the overnight. The price for the hotel was also quite high, although it was the period of the New Year holidays.

The location cannot be beat! The neighborhood has so many amenities easily accessible and this hotel is just steps from the Metro (Estrecho). The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and safe and felt very comfortable...would definitely recommend!

I wish there had been a refrigerator in the room. Other than that, all else was wonderful.

Great positioning, near metro Estrecho and bus stations I had a room right at the boulevard and traffic noises were not an issue for me Friendly staff

Breakfast has no meat or eggs, only fruits and jam and yogurt The bed was a little small not very confortable, pillows a little hard

The room was squeaky clean (U do hope they know to appreciate their cleaning lady) and was in a very good shape; WiFi worked fine, and the air-conditioning was a blessing with +38 outside. The metro station is just 80 steps away from the entrance; all in all, a very pleasant stay, I would not hesitate to come again.

After staying for 5 nights, i expected to extend a day room till 5PM which i was willing to pay.....but i was told the hotel was full unless i pay a full night. So i wondered where was the room for a whole night coming from? That pissed me off despite being a loyal customer for the last 10 years
