N’vY Manotel

Great location, a two minute walk from the lake, 12-15 minute walk to the centre. The room was spacious and clean. Powerful shower and good selection of toiletries provided. Would stay here again.

You can see into the bathroom from the bedroom, which means you can see the person you are travelling with while they shower etc. Keep that in mind if you're travelling with a family member, as you might not fancy seeing them showering.

Front desk (young guy from paris) was very helpful.

Air conditioning was not working. Hotel Should pro-actively open the windows in the rooms before guests enter as the room was very hot need ...at least air movement even if not cool.

Spacious and light room, kind personnel, car parking handled by personnel, nicely designed bar/restaurant and chill out areas, good location close to the lake and city center

Glass-walled bathroom without active ventilation. Springed mattresses were a bit moving out of the beds, two single beds composed as a double bed. Windows view to other building. Simpler breakfast.

The hotel is located near the lake. The staff were helpful.

The rooms were smaller than I was expected. The washing basin was clogged and the a/c was not cold enough.

Fabulous location where you can walk to the water in just 5 minutes, or to downtown hotels and restaurants. Extremely comfortable bed, fabulous Nespresso coffee maker with lots of pods. I appreciate the breakfast which had hot eggs fruits locks etc and I have a medical need for diet and they were very kind to accommodate me. Also it is wonderful all the art that they have and the colored lights in the property and these amazing old books of art and science that are just everywhere. Makes you feel like if you were stuck in the hotel you would still be plenty amused.

All the staff was very nice, but the guy checking me out seemed kind of brusque and did not even think me for my nearly $2,000 stay and I am also returning for another two nights. Isn't it kind of basic to thank your client for their business?

Rooms are good sized, beds comfortable, and all very clean, with nice fixtures. The breakfast is excellent, particularly for the price, and the dining room staff are outstanding. Front desk staff are extremely helpful as well. The N'vy is my "go to" hotel for staying in Geneva. It has the best combination of location, service, amenities, and price of anywhere in Geneva!

The air conditioning did not cool the room well enough to be comfortable, especially since the only top cover provided is a heavy duvet. Otherwise, a perfect stay.

I like that there was bidet in the toilet (شطاف)

I was upgraded which was a nice surprise; it meant I had a view of the lake which was a real bonus. The room was very comfortable, including an excellent bed, fun and adjustable lighting, effective and adjustable air conditioning; good clothes storage and a practical safe. The style was modern and cheerful. I also liked the range of TV channels on offer though some did not work in my room. It was quiet and clean. All the staff that I met were professional, friendly and efficient. The location is central and very close to a tram stop. The cafe was convenient and good for the evening when really tired.

The hotel does not seem committed to standard environmental good practices. Some examples: nowhere for towels to be hung properly to dry; no way for guests to sort their trash for recycling; breakfast is a buffet instead of prepared to order. Also worth noting: in this type of room the shower is over the bath. The bottom of the bathtub is more slippy than most and there is nothing to hold on to for safety.

This was the last stay of an epic train tour from Munich through Switzerland. We were tired. The room was clean, modern and cozy. There were many naps. I think we even watched TV a little bit (first time on the whole trip). This hotel is definitely within walking distance of both the train station and the lake. The lobby, like the room, was fun and colorful. I was too tired to get cocktails at night. I'm sure they could do it. You will like this hotel. It's very smart and modern.

N'vy Manotel. How do you pronounce the name? Is it like "envy" or perhaps "navy" - I don't know. Probably not the best location if you plan to walk around old Geneva - that would be the other direction from the train station. It might have been relatively expensive, I don't remember. It seemed to me like the cleaning staff were permanently occupying the hallway between our room and the elevator. Maybe my timing was off. Maybe these were fever dreams from the travels and the unseasonable heat.
