Hotel Mon Repos

breakfast was adequate and they always coming back to refill and always doing with a smile. ample parking space at a small cost but just besides the hotel itself. we could walk , location also was good. room well cleaned and decorated for our anniversary with fruit bowl. amenities , bed all super comfy and well placed. the asian staff who helped me carry the suitcases from the lift, to my room without asking, thank you. staff were extremely polite except for the man in the reception who seems angry most of the time.

i think it was that gentleman there, very rude and he charged some 10 swiss francs for a dental kit which was reversed by a very polite staff( the one with short hair, speaks fluent english and smiles with here eyes) forgot her name. lift is super tiny .

Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Bedroom was comfortable and the pillows super nice.

We stayed in a clean, nicely decorated room with a balcony. Breakfast was delicious. Public transportation is very easy with buses in front of the hotel. The hotel staff was very helpful in registering for the free transportation card (hotel informed us what we needed to do for online registration before our stay). It is very enjoyable to leave the hotel and take a walk in the park and by the lake. Also, the tea at the entrance was very delicious.

It was a nice stay for us. We didn't have any problems. Maybe crowded families may have problems because the elevator is small. Sometimes there may be traffic on the street in front of the hotel, but there wasnt any noise that disturb us.

Beautyful place, nice to see how they turned two old blocks to a hotel. Our stay was good as we expected. Payed parking makes your life easier. Best thing is that you only have ro cross the road and have a big walk with dogs in the park, where were a lot people having fun too.

Trees hiding the lake, so the view was not as we expected. The traffic down the road is pretty high 2 Times a day, so the air is not the best. First night the air conditioner had some problem, we got compensation for it, but I have to ask for it, was not natural by the hotel. Minor issue. Not much restaurant nearby, but good food from the hotel.

Very good location. 15 mins by taxi to the airport, 20 mins walk to Cornavin, close to Paquis (lots of restaurants, etc) and easy walk to the lake. Staff - efficient. All are very helpful & professional. Hotel room was very clean and everything worked very well.

Perhaps - a slightly random cleaning ?!! They are very good at cleaning but the number of towels that they leave in the bathroom changed every day, all through the week. Also the view from my window (4th floor) wasn’t that nice.

The hotel is well situated for meetings with international organisations and for access to the restful views of Lake Geneva. Communication before arrival was perfunctory, but on arrival the staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The foyer and lounge are comfortable and rooms have been tastefully refurbished. Eco features such as linen and toiletries management are much appreciated

Breakfast is very overpriced at 20 CHF. The single serve packaging at breakfast could be replaced with more sustainable options.

location is perfect, walking distance to lake as well as easy access to bus stop to take you to center. Very close to UN so convenient for my work commute. Got a balcony off my room this time which was a nice surprise.

shower was broken but was fixed right away. breakfast was not included in the room price for this trip, and was pretty expensive, would have been nice to have an expresso machine in the room.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. They helped with transportation-both public transit and arranging a taxi, as well as information about the area. The breakfast buffet was delicious, varied , and well presented. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location right across from a lovely park and very close the lake within easy walking distance to the most popular sites. My room was spacious, comfortable, and attractive. It was also very quiet and facing a courtyard.

There was nothing I didn’t like - it was all positive.

All amenities that i used were really well appointed. Loved the atmosphere of the living area and the bar / dining area was clean and comfortable. A great place to meet for friends or work colleagues and for a quick drink or a coffee.

A bit more room in the closet would have been nicer. However, i did fine with what was there. If there had been two of us in the room, however, it might have been a bit small (especially for Americans).

The staff were attentive and helpful. I was able to check in early (12:30) for no extra charge—quite welcome after my long trip. The room was reasonably spacious with a balcony and view of the mountains. Very effective sound insulation on windows kept street noise to a minimum. The park across the street includes walking paths, a lovely garden and a small museum on the history of science with free admission.

The bathroom light was motion activated rather than on a switch, so there was no avoiding being dazzled when using the bathroom in the middle of the night. (Eventually, I learned to put my sunglasses on before opening the bathroom door!)
