Hotel Strasbourg

Location is the best, close to Flixibus, Blabla bus & train station. 5 mins walk to the lake. The lady in the reception was very polite and she gave me a good city map and free transport card, which can be used for train to the airport.

I think the pictures shown on booking.com were taken by her sister hotel, Hotel Cristal. Hotel Strasbourg has a much older decor. Still clean, spacious and comfy.

The hotel was very nice and clean. The staff helpful and friendly. Location great for trains, bus, lake only 10 mins away and other sites. Transport card emailed to you though nobody seemed to check them, great transport scheme.

The location is good but the back of our room seems to be a meeting place for locals until the early hours, especially with the take away open until late. It did quieten down when the windows were shut but the room was very warm even with the fan on. Not much drawer and shelf space, room bit smaller than expected. Pillows not very comfortable.

It was close to the train station with lots of eateries close by. The checking was easy and pleasant. The hotel offers free transportation around the city and to the airport. The room was clean and had a bath, although if you had mobility issues it might have been a problem.

The only downside was that the mattress was only fit for a monk's cell, although the pillow was excellent. Also for AUD 235, they could have thrown breakfast in! Also, the room did not live up to the photos.

The hotel is brilliantly located amongst a load of shops, cafes and restaurants. It is just a short walk to the lake and the property itself has everything you might need. The staff were absolutely faultless from start to finish.

There is nothing bad about this property. My wife and baby had a slight issue when we arrived but the staff couldn’t have been quicker or more happy to rectify this. They were always welcoming, happy and professional.

The location is great, 5 min walk from the central train station and 15 min walk to Geneva main attraction. Lots of restaurants/coffee shops and bars around. Staff are very nice and helpful. The room is clean, however, it doesn't have an aircon so you have to open your window if you feel warm. It is a busy place, so you will hear the noise from outside. Good thing it's already a bit cold when we were there so closed window was just okay. If you're not looking for a fancy hotel and will spend most of your stay outside, , this hotel offers best value for your money.

Easy access to the rail station in the heart of the city. Near to restaurants. A pleasant walk to the lake. The desk clerk was very helpful and charming. A fridge and kettle were provided though the kettle had a euro plug so needed a converter to operate, which thankfully the desk clerk was happy to provide.

Breakfast was expensive so we didn't do it at the hotel. No air conditioning though a fan was provided.

located 5 mins away from Geneva train station on the quiet side of the street. the fountain and old town was around 10 min walk away. they give you this free ticket so you can take any of the public transport for free! (but we had our swiss pass with us already) room was okay. clean and comfortable. enough for a 3 day stay. if you’re looking for halal food there’s a kebab place nearby. also a small coop at the station to get your groceries

Every thing was ok except the reception the treatment was so tagh We would like to extend our stay and leave our luggage but the girl in reception tell us under our responsibility This girl made us heat to stay again in spite the hotel was nice She treat us good in the presence of her manager Her manager lady was so good But we did not have time to complain this girl The hotel very close to train sration

Excellent location. The room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and pillow. The breakfast was good . The staff were very attentive during the breakfast time.

Unfortunately there was no air conditioning and for this reason I will give a lower mark. We could not sleep well due to very hot room - visited in July. It was a bit noisy as the window was facing the street and the hotel is opposite a bar. So we could not even keep the window open.

I enjoyed everything about my stay. The checkin staff was a quite a gentleman. Room is super clean and tidy. Location is perfect. Quite room. One thing I did not like was the credit card which I booked during booking the hotel was charged rather the check out staff took my credit card and it was charged. Luckily I had another credit card. That didn’t go with me well. Anyway next time please resolve this mattwr
