Hotel Eden

The welcoming and friendly nature of all the staff and the overall cleanliness of the place. Good breakfast, service in the restaurant efficient, friendly and warm. Reception staff were exceptional, and went out of the way to attend to our many little needs and requests. Location was perfect, as 3 minutes away from our work location, and excellent walking with 2 parks just opposite the Hotel, with a lovely walk by the lake to the city center. Easy access to public transport too. It is good value for money, and one of our best experiences of hotels in Geneva/ and in a few other cities in Europe. We will definitely recommend it to others (we already have !!).

Wish the room was a bit bigger, but then most Geneva hotels are that way or even smaller. Also, there was a misleading advert about airport pickups on booking.com which needs to be sorted.

Charming, old style European hotel. The room was very comfortable and the location is perfect as it's a very short distance to a park along the lake (right across the street) and the Botanical Garden (one block away). Has a very Hercule Poirot sort of vibe.

Being a bit old-timey and with a corner entrance, there lacks any disability friendly way to get in. Three or four stairs to the door opening to five or seven more. The elevator likely wouldn't fit a wheelchair, so the accessibility is very low. Also, the restaurant at the time of stay was closed, but set to reopen on August 20th.

The balcony with two chairs were good. The bathroom planning and bathing area was good. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. Fresh linen and bright airy room. Location was excellent..close to bus and train station The reception was very helpful. Breakfast was good and very warm staff. The Geneva travel pass also helped. There is a well sized sitting area down ..there is a lift but even stair cases are wide and safe to move up and down.

For pure vegetarians traveling from the Indian sub continent and staying for say at least 2 to 3 nights is it possible to provide an item like paratha or vegetable soup. My husband faced a bit of a challenge

Outstanding - and great value in a very expensive city. Warm, friendly welcome (thanks Julie !). English spoken. Excellent help/advice on best way to get to our dinner restaurant. Decent size room with small balcony. Really good sleep quality in comfy beds. Above-average bathroom. Good breakfast with bread, croissants and pain-au-chocolate. Basically, a well cared-for and well-run hotel that provides a warm welcome and a really pleasurable stay. I'd book here again without a second thought.

The hotel needs a little bit of "modernizing"; the decor is very old school and a but sinister. The breakfast could benefit from better products, and from more local products. The bread was not of very good quality (croissants and pains au chocolat however were good); the jam was not good (very industrial, poor taste). The fruits were not of very good quality and not in season. The price is very high.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was excellent.

The breakfast was OK, but not great. The wait staff at breakfast were excellent, it was just the variety of food offered was limited. Also, it was somewhat concerning how the doors had to be locked and unlocked with the key. It seems hazardous to have to use the key to lock the door on the inside and then find it again to unlock the door to get out of the room. It seems like it would be a serious fire hazard.

I have stayed before. the reception staff are really amazing. typically knowing your name and room number after first meeting. Friendly and welcoming. I do not recall the restaurant being almost a distinct entity with chef etc. from my last stay, but it is beautifully appointed with tasty food and an exceptional waitress who was kind enough to translate some of the menu for me and advise on wines - even showing me a pamphlet of an amazing white wine with a hoopoe on the label. good quality towels, bath mats and products.

Location is very convenient for WTO. Bed was very comfortable. Room was very clean and quiet. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lots of hangers.

It was hot. A/C worked fine in room but bathroom, hallways, elevator, lobby, etc were not cool. No real option for drinks at night. Only one tiny elevator. No iron or conditioner provided in room.

Good value for money, conveniently located somewhat away from Gare Cornavin but near Lake Geneva and gardens/park, decent breakfast w/attentive staff

Taxiing to/from airport was easy and fast; however, getting taxi from Gare Cornavin was impossible (taxi drivers refusing our group of four w/skis, boot bags, etc.); when we called the hotel to ask if they’d call a taxi for us, they said that the taxi wouldn’t find us! We ended up taking a bus and schlepping our gear by foot one block in the summer heat
