Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central – Papermill Road

I've stayed there several times as I travel through Knoxville... always an easy, pleasant, comfortable stay... much better attention and service than other chains that often charge $50-$$70 more a night. I know this because I travel for business almost weakly. I'm a Red Roof Inn (and specifically Knoxville Central Papermill location) customer for the unforeseeable future. Love it. Mean it.

Thank you for not sneaking into my room and sucking on my toes. That is a game-changer. Y'all in the hotel business know what I mean. Holy crap... that was weird...

The front desk Was courteous they kept me informed on what I did not know about the facility by being mine and my wife's first time there. The evening shift manager at the front desk was outstanding.

I didn't like that there wasn't any type of continental breakfast that you can choose from for the price that you were paying you should be able to offer some type of continental breakfast for your hotel

There was no breakfast, however they’re very helpful, attentive, even being so short handed they were very on point and not 1 person was unprofessional in anyway. I felt safe, the vending areas were nice and clean the waiting area was clean and had fresh coffee. House keeping DIDNT moan and grown when we asked for extra towels, or clean sheets. Like literally everyone especially for new years was super nice. It was quiet no drama

Great value and great location, close to downtown and lots of stores and restaurants nearby. I really appreciated Jeff's great customer service, he made our stay there very enjoyable. He helped with questions about the area as well.

The only way it could be better was if you could walk to some of the places nearby, but no sidewalks.

This location is good for overnight stays. Great location. Friendly staff. Great beds. Great price.

I did not like that it advertises continental breakfast but you get there and all they serve is coffee. You even have it on signs in the room. False! The bathroom in room 200 looked half clean. Maybe because of age.

Great price and a great location. It was located in a clean, safe area of Knoxville. Very convenient to Interstate 40. Everything about the stay either met or exceeded all of our expectations. This will be the Hotel of choice for myself on any future overnight stays in Knoxville.

The vending machine was a little overpriced but honestly I have no complaints with our stay whatsoever.

The price was reasonable. Location close to Interstate. Housekeeping was there everyday making the bed, emptying garbage, replacing towels. Nice to come back to a clean room. Wifi worked great.

The room had a strange smell to it. Not a foul odor but not pleasant, either. Restaurant's and shopping were a mile and a half away. At least. The room was a little dated but not the end of the world.

The staff is great and pool was nice. And it's pretty quite when construction isn't going on.

Behind the bed and night stands was very dirty. And the tv didn't work. And they were doing construction right above our room and it was so loud we had to leave cause it was constant drilling loud and it was for 4 hours straight one day it gave me a migraine so we had to leave to get a break from it.

The gentlemen who checked us in was professional and exceptional. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel rooms were being remodeled. And the room they put me in was straight across from where they were having an AA meeting. So it was very loud and couldn't sleep in. When we were checking out we noticed someone had hit our vehicle and caused damage. When I told the lady at the front desk she acted like it wasn't her problem even though the camera faced directly at my vehicle.

The room was beautiful! And VERY clean inside. I would definitely stay there again. The room really changed my outlook on this property.

I wasn't impressed with the lobby, elevator, or hallways. They all seemed really dirty and shabby. Oh and I was not happy that I had to wait in lobby for 30 minutes while they hang up a sign saying they'd be back in 45 minutes. But I had to so I could get my $150 deposit back. And while I was waiting, I got some coffee and not only was it ice cold but it was terrible.
