Marriott Knoxville Downtown

Pros: Excellent location for the Fanboy Expo we went to it was at the Knoxville Convention Center it was literally across the street! Beds were sooo comfortable! Shower was amazing! Good water pressure and hot! Clean! In hotel restaurant was delicious and affordable. Mini fridge was helpful. Got very dark to sleep at night with both curtains closed.

Cons: No pool HVAC was a bit loud sometimes but nothing good ear plugs don’t help drown out. No free breakfast but hotel breakfast was delicious for an additional charge.

Wonderfully modern rooms in a great location. Loved the food options downstairs including the restaurant and the cafe. The gallery area was a lovely touch too. Rooms were spacious and the shower was amazing. Hotel offers valet parking but plenty of other parking options nearby which are often free on weekends. Overall a great stay - wish we had longer to explore all the breweries in Knoxville!

The windows aren't greatly soundproofed, so you will likely be disturbed by traffic during the night

We stayed on the 3rd floor. We ate breakfast in the M club. Good location.

Their credit card swiper captured our card a few times and that has happened before. It is not a huge issue, but a pain! However, their accountant, Lori, was really fabulous and fixed it for us.

Very nice hotel! Clean, comfortable and the staff was incredible. Was close enough to walk to everything downtown, including the coliseum. The room was huge and we loved the window. Would definitely stay here again!

Parking was valet only and we weren't aware of that before booking--was a sort of steep charge.

Love the location but the fire alarm went off that night which has never happened to me and no one seemed to know what was going on.

I didn’t like the valet but was so so thankful that your valet guys saw my flat tire and I called AAA to put my spare on!

The room was great. Facilities were nice. I had hoped there would be a pool, but that is on me for not checking ahead of time. The staff was very nice and helpful.

As is the case with most hotels, the room got hot at night. It's that thing that hotels do where they make you feel like you have control over the AC, but you really don't.

The restaurant was very unorganized. it was late, I was sitting in the lobby, thinking I was waiting on a table, only to be told that the kitchen had been closed for over an hour. Others thought the same thing. Lack of communication, maybe. Ate there twice and the food was great,

I enjoyed the atmosphere and design. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

When I first got into the room there was no toilet paper and the mirror just outside the bathroom was not clean. Easy fix lol I just went to one of the cleaning carts in the hall and grabbed some toilet paper.

Staff was very accommodating, very clean. The valet service was a weak link, and the fact that you have no option but to use them, and sometimes the wait is very long, or your car is brought up and blocked in, would probably make this a no go for our next trip to Knoxville.

The coffee shop charged 5$ for a Luke warm coffee out of a pump container. Good hot coffee is a MUST at a hotel. This was disappointing.
