Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Gatlinburg, TN

the stay was amazing for my first trip to Tennessee. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view and everything was in close range to walk. Nigh time lights are amazing. Will come back for another trip.

Needs signs up to be aware of bears. Breakfast food wasn't tasteful at times, bugs in the room and didn't like that you have to put in a request for room to be cleaned.

Room was clean. Location of motel was off the main strip so it was quiet at night. We were surprised by the wide array of breakfast foods…eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, cereals, make -your-own waffles, assorted coffees, teas, and juices.

While the breakfast option were very good, the tv in the breakfast room was on politics. We asked to change it, but they did not. Since we were on vacation, it would have been nice to listen to something other than that.

No fault of the hotel but seemed short staffed during breakfast time but the staff member that was doing breakfast was a sweetheart just had his hands full with rude guests and can you add biscuits lol

The Property needs a little updating. The elevator floor looks very odd . Like wood that got very wet and left to dry warped.? Hotel maid was sleeping in a chair when you first walk in all the time and not friendly at all ! Kinda weird !

I loved the cleanliness of the rooms and the house keeping! Employees were also noticed when cleaning and were very helpful with anything we may have needed during our stay!

Parking is a little congested making it difficult to find a spot especially during the busiest time of the season. It can be pretty stressful because you are on edge of having a vehicle towed. I also had a damaged television in the room assigned for our stay. I let the front desk know from the moment we checked in and the gentleman could only say “okay” over and over making me concerned I’d be blamed for it. Our room was right above the kitchen which was VERY noisy in the mornings with set up and the swinging of the kitchen door daily starting at 6:00 AM. Wish the pool had a hot tub or even an adults only hour from 9-midnight just to allow adults to have alone time and relaxation!

The location is steps from the parkway where you can walk to attractions and restaurants. In the last 2 days of our trip we didn't have to move our car. Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs on it with views of the mountains and the observation tower that lights up at night. Hot breakfast every morning with coffee, water, juice, and tea available all day. You can walk to Sky Park, Anakeesta, and Ripey's Aquarium in minutes. Extremely close to all of the distilleries, too. The pool is open until midnight.

The place could use a refresh, especially tho pool, but for a beer budget, it was perfect. Just because it's not updated doesn't mean it wasn't clean because it was.

The building is starting to show its age. It definitely needs to be remodeled. Then I would definitely give it a 10.

The location was perfect! Almost dead center of all of the places we wanted to see and the things we wanted to do. The check in was a breeze. We arrived an hour early but our room had already been cleaned, so we were allowed to check in and get our stuff inside. My wife loved the complimentary juice and coffee machines. Our room was clean,clean...which is always nice. Some places you don't want to take your shoes off until you're ready to jump in the bed, because the floors are sticky or otherwise, visibly not clean; this is not that place! And the breakfast was great. Waffles, bacon, cheesy eggs, biscuits and gravy, muffins, bagels, and if you're one of those people...fresh fruit! Did I mention bacon? Damn right, I did!

I'm pretty sure that the indoor pool, claimed to be heated...maybe I'm wrong, but the pool was definitely room temperature. Good news is, it's an indoor pool, so the room was 70 some degrees. Not bad, and no wind or rain or other elements affecting your lap times. But I roll in at about 98.6 degrees, so that initial splash in at 75 or so, is chilly, but you acclamate quickly. It's not a polar bear plunge, but cooler than I would have liked! That's the only "negative" thing I can think of. We really liked everything else.

Check in is sooo easy! Lady at the desk is very nice and informative. (Just remember, only park on the spots, marked with a 🌷, or your car may not be where you left it, when you come out in the morning.) Breakfast was good as always. Giant shower in our room was great! Texting "OUT", so we can avoid the check out line in the morning, is a nice touch! We've stayed at this location 3 trips in a row, and have no intentions of changing hotels. Well done, Country Inn And Suites...well done!

This time our room had a slight musty smell. Probably a dirty filter in the ac...nothing a good airing out couldn't fix.
