Econo Lodge Inn & Suites at the Convention Center

location is great. parking is good and the bear that sniffed my new Jeep was a bonus. even he/she thought it was nice.

I felt like the showers could have been a little cleaner. Overall cleanliness was great but a little more care to make sure the shower was cleaner would have been perfect.

Location, price, on-site parking. Day shift employee was amazing! Quick check in! Room smelt clean when we walked in.

On our second day BOTH of our key cards were deactivated and we were unable to get into our room. They were carried separately, by 2 different people and stored in 2 different locations, so this was not an accidental deactivation by another electronic device. I went to the front desk to get them fixed. The night employee ONLY said, can I help you? And there you go. No apology, nothing! After being out all day with 2 small children, not being able to get into your room, lugging them across the street to the front desk and waiting for them to fix it, the LEAST (and really only thing) the could have done/said was hey, sorry about that! She seemed more annoyed I was interrupting her watching the TV show she had on. Also, mattresses need to be updated.

Location was excellent. One block away from the convention center, only a block or two away from convenience stores, very good restaurants, fast food, and even Starbucks. All the motels I've stayed at since Covid began, including places more than twice the price, have failed at some or all of the basics, like daily room service, towels, trash removal, TV and cable, refrigerator, microwave, lights, outlets for your electronics, WiFi, AC, hair dryer, elevator, ice maker, hotel staffing, and cleanliness. Econo Lodge is a complete success. Everything just works ... flawlessly. The place is immaculate. Spotless. It was a real pleasure to stay there. A bargain. Highly recommended. Stay there if you can.

We love that it’s so close to town. They accommodated our room request which was fantastic!

It’s astonishing to me that they will not be bringing back their hot breakfast…EVER…according to the lady at the desk! Using COVID as an excuse is getting tiring!

Only negative I would say is that parking is small. Hard to get in and out of vehicle if someone parks beside you.

It is the perfect distance to the parkway. In less than 5 minutes, you are across the street from Sugarlands Moonshine and right next to Ripley's Believe It or Not. It was a nice little room for my husband and I to relax in when we weren't walking down the parkway. And the view as soon as we stepped outside was amazing! They have rocking chairs outside of every room, and we sat outside to enjoy the weather and lovely view. The staff was very friendly too. Our room was missing a microwave, but in less than 5 minutes we had a brand new one.

I was disappointed in the grab and go breakfast because when I stayed here 4 years ago, there was THE BEST hot breakfast. But Covid I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The location and price is great

The room was nice and clean at first glance but there was a lot of dust accumulated beside the mini fridge and around and behind the microwave. Also dust and dirt up next to the bed frame. Appears the floor had been cleaned just not close to the bed frame. I have stayed at this Econolodge several times and probably will again but they need to do more deep cleaning

Last two Summers I’ve stayed here with my family. We always ask for the handicapped accessible room because we travel with my grandma. They’ve always met the request. The room and bathroom have always been clean. I like how close the property it is to the strip. You can basically walk anywhere you need to.

Beds could be more comfortable. And there is no hot breakfast. With what we paid for three days, they need to have better breakfast. It’s mainly just on the go breakfast bars, fruit cups.

The upstairs room had vault ceilings and lots of floor space with a couch and nice size tv. Good lacation just off the main road.

Parking was free but the spaces were tight.

The location is the best! 1/2 block walk to Parkway where there are restaurants, shops, activities, etc., Rooms have been updated since I stayed here in 2014 and they are nice but basic. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Always felt safe on the very short walk to and from the strip. Will always check this place for vacancies before I book anything in Gatlinburg!!

TV in room was tiny. Nothing that would keep me from staying again!
