Belle Aire Motel - Downtown Convention Center - Gatlinburg

I like the older style motels that are one level with outside access which this property is. I also like the retro charm these older style motels have. The room was clean and the bed was relatively comfy. The person that checked us in was very friendly.

I hate how most hotels today have their beds so high. I always need a step ladder to get in and it is so frustrating! Found the same here. The side chair was older and not very comfortable. The outside of the motel needs some basic upkeep and landscaping. When we first arrived there were no other cars there and it looked a bit overgrown and potentially abandoned.

No interrupting loud people.

Nothing specific. I'm not picky unless they up your butt type of hotel owner I was left alone and walking around trying to find a soda machine no one question me. There's one person who looked around the corner at me making me suspicious but I saw on the other side people in a vehicle and almost called them out saying you staying here and if they said no I would say begone before I call upon the law. You would be trespassing and stalking just for peaking around the corner

Location was great, walking distance to the main part of town.

We got there early & our room want quiet ready so they let us park there to walk down town. Before we could even walk party the hotel they came out and said our room was ready. We seen A beat our last night in town right in front of our hotel room.

we didn't have a microwave when we got into our room & our refrigerator want working. However they came right down to our room & fixed the fridge & brought us a microwave.

Location and staff was great,especially the pleasant young lady! TV package and internet were great too. Clean and comfortable. I don’t require a lot of amenities. Really cold AC.

Parking was somewhat limited. Not a big deal to me but ‘p, the pool was filled in keep this in mind. Could have used a chair or two and a small table. This is an older motel but still a good choice.

The motel is right beside the Log Cabin Pancake House which is our favorite breakfast stop. Check in and out was a breeze and the staff was so nice. My husband got sick on our last day so I had to go to Walgreens for medicine but it was only a 5 minute walk. The price for parking in the other lots has gone up dramatically so its awesome to be so close to the strip. Price wise it was great. The room was kinda small but I mean you don't have to have a lot of room to sleep. Oh and they have mattress protectors! We check for bed bugs right off and it was clean.

The parking lot was kinda wonky but not a huge deal. The bathroom was teeny tiny but again, not a huge deal. It was just my husband and I. Had it been our kids too then this wouldn't have been for us. The bed wasnt the greatest and the pillows were small. I'm sure they would have given us more pillows if we asked but we just made do. These really are just nit picky things.

they allowed me to check in long before check in time which was amazing nothing sucks more then being in between bookings with all your stuff in your car and the next hotel won't let you check in till after 3 specially when your trying to do things. but this hotel allowed me to check in early and they had something i hadn't seen in any other hotel around the area. See Tennessee hotels have heaters in the rooms this one did too but the bonus of this hotel is they also had an over head heater in the bathroom which was amazing! unlike the previous hotel i got out of the shower and even though the room part by the bed was warm hitting the cold air stepping out of the bathroom wasn't cool but in their rooms you step out from a heated bathroom into a warm room. just perfect every thing in the room was good and clean also they have microwaves and mini fridges!

i loved everything about this hotel. if i nit pick anything it would be that the parking lot could use a few more brighter lights....

The Staff! The young lady at the front desk was very professional and friendly, always smiling. The rooms were spotless and perfect for our stay. The location was perfect! Will stay every time we return!!!!❤ Bonus: we saw bears the second day right outside our room!❤ This place my be older but it is a diamond in the rough! *If you have never stayed here you should definately do it, you will love the location and how clean it is!

They moved me to a sister property and compted me 1 night stay free because there was an issue with the internet being down and no working tv, no shower, and no pool.

That property is very old, built in 1958. No internet, no tv., the shower spicket broke off in my hand, booking. Com picture shows a beautiful swimming 🏊‍♂️pool. Lol pool is fill in w dirt. THERE IS NO FREAKING POOL!!!!! HORRIBLE, A NIGHTMARE SITUATION 😫😢😞😪. The person working at the front desk had zero customer service skills to top it all off. I got the property mgr. To come there (Rory) who was very apologetic and corrected the situation immediately. He brought me over to their sister property and put me up in a KING SUIT w a fire place for 2 nights giving me the 1st night free and a discount on the 2nd night. Rory went above and beyond, hats off, kudos to him.

We love this little motel . We stay here every year. The owners are friendly ,the room is always clean. The best thing is after a long day of fun, we come back to the coolest room you could ask for. The air conditioner is amazing!!! We would recommend this place to anyone!!! The prices are great to.

Only down fall is no pool but having an awesome air conditioner made that ok.
