Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Columbia, SC

Convenient to I-77. Room was clean and well appointed. Coffee available in lobby 24 hours. Abundant restaurants and gas stations in area. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was spacious.

Plastic shield still installed at check-in desk, so difficult to communicate. Fire alarm went off at 4:00 AM, and no one knew how to shut it off. We never did find the ice machine, and people were busy with the fire alarm, so no one to ask. Check in clerk asked my wife if she was a guest when we were looking around the hotel less than an hour after we checked in, and it was not busy at the time. Some wooden furniture in room was scuffed that needs attention to detail to stay nice.

Front Desk very friendly and accommodating. The language barrier with the breakfast attendant and hskp was kinda difficult to get the simplest of questions/requests handled. It’s not a fault, just an observation. In hindsight, I could have used google translate :)

Much need interior and exterior renovations are needed. F on the potholes in the parking lot, the building and the room quality (bathroom, walls, desk chair, etc) needs some attention. I would stay again, but I hope there is improvement.

The receptionist were very nice and helpful. The room I thought I paid for was not the room that I got but they fixed that for me in no time. Excellent staff

There was nothing that I didn't like. The only thing I would request is that they make some rooms "smoking" rather than having to go outside. With me traveling by myself and being a smoker I didn't feel comfortable going outside by myself. But other than that it was absolutely amazing

I became homeless nd came here and staff was so nice and welcoming. They didn't know well don't know I'm homeless but they was nice

No wired internet so I lost my job. Thought my friend was going to get hired here because she was asked about her application and it would've help us alot with our situation but instead she wasn't even called back don't know why they rushed her for her application if they didn't plan to call her for an interview so disappointing

We stayed on the way home from Florida. Just one night. The staff were pleasant and the room was clean. I always enjoy their biscuits and gravy for breakfast. They didn't have waffles, but they had a pancake maker. They have a pool, but I didn't use it. The coffee was good. Lots of extra room.

You have to remember that workers are staying there, so the hallways get dirty from boots, but it was clean when we came in..I think it's just hard to keep up with that. It didn't bother my stay.

Front desk manager (Lutrelle, sp?) and the young lady who hamdled check in were very helpful throughout my stay. They both displayed "grace under presure" when there were system issues. They were personable and always pleasant. They even recommended local restaurants that were "on point." Custodial staff was also very friendly.

Small room, quirky TV: the channel guide did not correctly match up with channels; back entrance was not secure: could pull door open without card key.

The lady at the front desk gave us a call to confirm our booking before she cancels it, because the payment didn't go through. It was some internal issue between Booking.com and them but could have ended very bad for us, has she not called to let us know. Thank you so much again!!

Nothing stood out as negative. It was an average hotel. This is not the hotel's fault, but the main road you turn out to is a nightmare.

When I got there to check in Latrell checked me in n she was very friendly...we laughed n joke I felt like i knew her...she explained everything about where the room was located n breakfast time...I hope she remembers me I'm the one who told her about her name and TikTok.. The rooms where clean.. I would definitely be back for another stay.

When I checked out Latrell wasn't there...

convenient location, friendly stuff, good breakfast. I stayed here after Congare National Park firefly viewing. The location is 20 minutes away from the park so it is very convenient!

The hotel is old so if you don’t like old hotel, I don’t recommend. But it is well made so hopefully they can repair little bit, not completely renovating:)

I loved that the lobbyist took the time ask about our visit and was able to accommodate a room that would be lower level near the pool for my son's. Breakfast was great and had many options.We had so much fun and made great memories. We will be back

The lighting in the room was very dim. If It had one for lamp on there side of the room the room would better lit.
