Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia/Southeast-Fort Jackson

I loved the whole look and decor of the hotel it was clean and very updated. The staff was nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable but pillows were tiny for a king size bed.

The water pressure was awful in the shower. And the water was not hot at all. That was the worst part of my stay.

The front desk clerk was very pleasant and professional. The room was very clean. The location was perfect for getting around town and shopping. The housekeeping staff was very friendly and polite.

I didn't like the location of the ice machines. They were a distance away from the rooms in isolated areas. This seems to be dangerous and unsafe, especially if visitors enter through the back doors during the day or night, it doesn't matter. More safe locations for customers to have access to these machines would be more appropriate, less liability and danger.

The front desk staff was excellent very professional when we told him about the room he quickly moved us to another room we really appreciate that

The first room we checked intoseemed pretty decent until we up the toilet and it was stuffed with toilet paper and feces the toilet was broken. I would suggest the supervisor in charge of housekeeping s*** inspect the room to make sure that it's clean and if it's not clean or if there is a deficiency they should block the room until it is done

This location always exceeds expectations. This one stay will not deter us from coming back in 2 weeks, and for every other home game, but to pay holiday prices and have these problems were not up to expectations. The staff was very kind and accommodating - since they'd already moved us, we didn't want to bother them with the 2nd room issues.

We had issues with our commode and were moved to another room promptly. The 2nd room was not up to the typical standard of this hotel. The appliances were not plugged in, there was a coating of dust, the beds were so worn it was just springs and there were no trashcans. Final straw was the roach that was found crawling across the wall.

Perfect location off highway, didn’t even heee the traffic, room was comfortable, price was good. Just wish night attendant had a mask on.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable! The staff, particularly Howard, was very nice and also very helpful! The handyman was also very professional.

The showers were outdated and had zero water pressure. The pool was very cold for the kids and there were many signs of wear around the pool room, in addition to bugs all along the inside of the windows and floor where we were sitting.

Easy highway access. We were just overnighting on our way to Florida. Nice breakfast buffet.

Landscaping is run down and bad looking and parking lot is full of potholes. A not so great first impression. Then I had to use the restroom in the lobby. There was no toilet paper. The shower curtain in the room had black mildew all over the bottom of it. This hotel is obviously very busy with transient business so I was not suprised. Needs some remodeling. Could be MUCH cleaner and more attention paid to the little details would be appreciated. I checked for bedbugs just to be sure, there weren't any thank God.

The staff were lovely at check-in and throughout our stay. This is the second time we've stayed at this hotel, and it was great both times. It is conveniently located even to travel into Columbia (especially given the raised prices during game weekends).

All was good. There is nothing that we were unhappy with.
