Place is spectacular. But the service people who care for your needs were the best. Pool totally over run by a crowd of people that actually drove us to go to the beach. Way too many people around the pool.

I ate at their signature restaurant “The Drift” and while the facility is beautiful, the service and especially the food were awful. I got food poisoning from their fish stew only to be told I should have gone to the restaurant manager. Apparently I’m supposed to know the food was bad and I was going to vomit violently 4 hours later. Food in general in Delray was underwhelming and The Drift is less than that as care isn’t taken making sure food stays fresh. Their Cafe Market was also a disappointment as they couldn’t make change on at least 3 days because no fresh cash draw was put in for opening. At 7:30 AM they have to be completely ready to open. They weren’t. Extremely annoying get a pile of change instead of bills.

This was my first time here and I remained well impressed. Room was comfortable and spacious with a nespresso coffee machine which we loved. AC was quite and we really appreciated the extra bathrobes and complementary water bottles. The hotel itself was great. We really enjoyed the architecture and decor. Complementary parking was another big perk. The main pool was also nice. A little bit small but with nice service and complementary ice creams and refreshments. My mother enjoyed the SPA services. Bars and restaurants were great too. Food was excellent at the Drift and we had good breakfasts at the monkey bar. Service can be a little bite slow and some of waiters/waitresses were not up to the hotel standards, but it’s really hard to find well trained people nowadays… overall, we stayed for almost a week and made great memories, and that’s all that counts. We will visit again!

There were a lot of pigeons in the pool area…

I love the location of the hotel. I have stayed here multiple times.

I did not like that I had bird poop all over my balcony . I called down to the desk they said they would take care of it . i stayed 5 days and it was never cleaned so the balcony I paid extra for I had I could not sit outside. The holding of the lounges outside by the pool by other customer was ridiculous. There was 1 guy who every morning would hold 9 chairs for his family members and only used about 4- 5 chairs a day . On vacation I had to be down there no later than 7:15 to get a lounge because people were abusing the rules . And yes I did tip very well in the am to get a seat.

My family and I have stayed at the Opal Grand twice and we continue to love the hotel, amenities, food, ambience. We will be back again because of the beauty of the resort and everything it comes with. We had an amazing server at the pool who was very nice, welcoming and attentive. The staff at the breakfast restaurant, The Monkey Bar is very attentive and helpful. Everyone from valet parking to front desk staff is outstanding. We had great room view of the pool and ocean. The Opal Grand is a great resort.

We didn't like that a staff at the pool was dismissive when we requested service. We were confused as to why she wouldn't help us with our order. We didn't want to make a formal complaint because we were there to enjoy our vacation, but it did not feel nice to be disregarded by one of the staff at the pool when we tried to order.

Everything was exceptional and beautiful The pool , bar area and food were excellent Staff were great !!! Never had better or more friendly staff ANYWHERE!!! Great beach right across the street!!! Location SUPER !!! Definitely would love to stay there again🤗

Need bathroom hooks or towel bar especially with a pedestal sink Back of the door would be a great idea There were NONE Bathroom lighting poor for shaving, very pretty though No clock Cell phones had to do No light out on our fabulous deck overlooking the beach and beautiful surf All easy enough to overlook seeing that the place is gorgeous

The location was amazing! Additionally, the aesthetic and decor were beautiful and inviting. The property was very clean and well maintained. Every employee we interacted with were incredibly friendly and professional.

If I had to knit pick, our room was considered a city view, but the only view we had was that of a dirty rooftop of the parking garage. The bed, pillows, and sheets were not the most comfortable we have slept in, but it wasn’t so bad that we wouldn’t consider returning. These are trivial things to my husband and I and worth the lower price that we paid to stay in the resort.

Staff great, smiled a lot, helpful. Pool wonderful for swimming my laps every morning. Really pretty place. Location easy to get too. Our Junior King suite large and also a comfortable sofa room with large TV.

Very minor thing- I could have asked the front desk to help but I kept forgetting. I do not care for staff to come into the room to freshen up twice a day, most people do. But I am private and prefer not. Twice even with do not disturb door card up they came in. My guess is that management must insist on this.

Great location. Beach is across the street and walk to restaurants and shops was about 10 minutes. Hotel was very nice. Room was clean, pool area was nice, staff was attentive and the gym was decent for a hotel gym. There is also restaurant and bar if you prefer not to leave to the premises.

We were given a room which was already occupied. Obviously not the first time this happened as when we went back to the front desk, we were told "this hasn't happened in a long time". Also, there is a lack of security. Anyone can walk into hotel and enter into the elevators.

We had a corner room facing the ocean with a small balcony facing the parking area. The pool area and pool bar were well maintained and the staff was great. The location along Atlantic Avenue could not be better.

We had ants coming from the air conditioning system access panel one morning. We called and they offered to move us to another room but that did not happen. A gentleman from housekeeping sprayed the room and that was the last we heard from the hotel staff.

Lovely decor, great staff, and an overall wonderful stay. All of the employees went above and beyond. Jody at the front volunteered to take pictures when we were trying to take a family picture. The pool attendants, servers, housekeepers and literally everyone went out of their way. Our room was small but everything was very clean, freshly painted, and we had such a great time. Fantastic food close by. We will be back.

I had requested a lower level room or room close to the stairs and that wasn’t possible. Next time I want to figure out how to request a first floor room by the serenity pool.
