The hotel is very nice, the pool is great and it’s not far from some nice restaurants. We stayed there while visiting Malibu so it’s like 30mins from the beach. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything was great, only thing is that the floors in our room could’ve been swept/vacuumed a little better because we had some crumbs and sand and they were still around after housekeeping.

The bellboys were extremely kind and helpful! The entire hotel exceeded our expectations because of its cleanliness and quiet nature.
I didn’t really like that the front desk lady automatically assumed my friend and I (23 year old females) were loud party animals and told us not to be loud or make a mess when we didn’t do or say anything to insinuate we were like that.

Bed was very comfortable. Room was immacualte. Lobby was clean and bright. Lotsa' hot water in the shower. Concierge were all extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. I don't do Starbucks ever. Wish you had a locally owned cafe w/ espresso instead of the typical American hotel worthless breakfast counter and starbucks. Luckily there were cafes, a good deli, and restaurants a short walk and/or nearby. Please add tcm, mlb, and nhl channels to the t.v. Safety bars in the shower would be good for seniors and people w/ disabilities.
Get rid of Starbucks.

Only one manager could sort out an issue on their end for a refund with part of the booking. If she had not been on duty near the end of our stay it would have meant a lot of running around after we had left. All managers should have basic ability and knowledge to deal with these issues.

There were a lot of people drinking heavily at the pool. It would have been nice to have someone from the hotel to ensure that these loud people didn’t take over and limit the enjoyment of other guests.

Great location, very close to restaurants, shops and the 101. Near freeway, yet very quiet. Happy and helpful staff. Easy to order and get food in hotel.
Pool was super busy, never any chairs or towels. Could have been cleaner, but I think all these issues are from the numerous kids sports teams staying during our stay.

I was surprised by the lack of amenities...room service in "to go" containers, no morning newspaper, and no convenience shop for travel necessities.

pay parking is a bit of a scam given how much they have available. The pillows are way too high! look great on the bed but you can’t use them unless you want neck ache the next day! The mountain view definitely isn’t, it’s of the car park

I was staying in the first floor. The elevator music was LOUD and never stopped. At 1 am when I was trying to sleep, the music could be heard very clearly. Also, the rooms are not soundproof. I could hear the couple staying in the room next to me talking. They were not yelling, yet I could hear every conversation they had word for word.

Room was very nice and clean and recently updated with big tv, nice desk, night lights, plenty of storage… Pool is nice and the NY style deli (Brent’s) across the street is outstanding.
Jacuzzi was not working properly (pool was warmer) which was very disappointing as we were hoping to use it.
