simple pretty easy clean. Room is not large but OK to get around. I have to say the pool looked really pretty down there in the middle of the property, (but unfortunately they do not heat it and that is a huge huge disappointment that we cannot go in. )Close to grocery store ,Starbucks ,fast food ,cafés ,pharmacy etc..The coffee in the lobby was decent and I am most impressed by places that have real half-and-half not those little plastic things or some powdered creamer

The reality is you’re right next to the freeway. that is both a pro and con.As stated above there’s a gorgeous pool but it’s NOT heated. BIG PROBLEM There is no coffee maker in the room!!!(but they had some in the lobby and it was good)

The Inn is well located and very clean/organised-problem with wifi, they gave me a premium wifi code for the cellphone (I eventually had to use to work on my laptop)

The Standard Queen room was small and the desk had a broken chair (so you sat low-uncomfortable)-the 204 room was located right next to the cleaners room and loud people at 6.45 am. I had requested (as always) a quiet room and that wasn't the case. Also the wifi didn't work and i used my own hotspot

Lovely little inn! Peacefull, cute, lots of shops nearby, easy to get to, pretty little pool area, handy laudry room. Just perfect for us! We had brebooked, and thats good, cos they said it was fully booked when we checked in. Even tho it was full it wasnt busy or noisy.

The only thing; There's two ducks who seem to live by the pool. They could've maybe been asked to live somewhere else ;) Poo and feathers in and by the pool wasnt too nice, but we didnt care too much. We like swimming in lakes too, and we know ducks and other creatures live there - so two duckies didnt scare us off.😄

Staff was friendly and met my needs promptly. Location was easy access to the freeway. Property looks good!

The room adjacent to me was making a lot of noise throughout the evening. No breakfast was available not even a continental. No flavored creamer for your guests. No microwave in the rooms and the one in the laundry room is locked at 10:00pm. In today's market, if you want to compete and keep your customers, you need to provide more! These are little things that you can do to accommodate.

staff were helpful, rooms were clean, and there was a lovely swimming pool there. Parking was a little difficult as the spaces were quite small so difficult to leave room for people to get in and out of their cars. I have mentioned this in their request for my review so hope they might be able to improve that. Overall it was an excellent place to stay, close to main freeways, not too far from Malibu, and a large supermarket was just down the road.

just the tight parking spaces but that was the only one small complaint.

Rating based on value expecting minimal amenities. We added a nite to our trip and didn't want to pay a lot. This hotel is in a business district right next to the freeway but there is a nice shopping center with good food just a half blook away. The women at checkin was very nice and gave us a choice of room location. We picked one opposite the freeway, probably a good move. The room was a little old, on the small side and bare but it was clean and still a good value. There was a refrigerator and coffee in the room but no microwave. There was a microwave in the laundry room though.

Small microwave in the laundry room was a little inconvenient.

- large room with big bed, and fridge - bathroom had a bath/ shower - USB chargers built into bedside cabinet - laundry facilities which give you one free wash and one free dry if you download a free app - 5 mins walk from supermarket, starbucks , mcdonalds and other similar businesses - easy parking - 15mins drive from malibu creek park where MASH was filmed ( hence why i stayed here) - easy access on and off highway 101.

- minor but window didnt appear to be openable - 'friendly' neighbour who didnt think the no smoking signs outside the rooms applied to him. - could do with bedside light on both sides of the bed - slight irritation of main room light also being the bedside light and it being possible to deactivate the switch by the door if you switched the lights off while in bed

Stayed here for a week on a long road trip and it was the best lodging we found on our entire trip. Front desk staff were all very helpful and responsive to our requests. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was sparkling clean, beds were comfortable, and very clean and comfortable bedding. The newer rooms are very spacious for the price. They serve very good coffee (and tea/hot water) every morning until 10am. Beautiful location 1 minute drive away from Albertsons, Starbucks, and several restaurants. About 20-30 minute drive to the beach depending on traffic.

The key cards get easily deactivated, they suggested that we store them away from our phone and credit cards. If they deactivate, the front desk will fix it for you very quickly. The washing machines in the laundry room currently use quarters only, but there is no change machine so you need to bring your own quarters. Bring your own laundry soap as they do not sell it there. They seem to be moving toward an easier app-based way to pay for laundry in the future.

The area was just beautiful. I went with my daughter and granddaughter, and we felt very safe. The hotel was very well kept, the pool area was very inviting. The room was very spacious and clean, the only thing that was a bit off was the carpet had many stains, but nonetheless was clean and room smelled clean.

There was nothing that I didn't like, the only thing that would have been nice to have in the room would have been a microwave. other than that, it was great!

I was beyond happy because this place exceeded my expectations for a no-frills motel. I had to book here last minute after a previous accommodation that I had booked site unseen wound up being unacceptable. Good Night Inn is exceptionally clean (which is hard to find when looking in this price range!), the beds and pillows are comfortable, the area feels safe (important for a solo female traveler like myself), and the property itself is well maintained. I also found it to be very quiet, no partiers or noise most of the time. If on bottom floor you can hear the people upstairs walking, so if you're sensitive to this book an upstairs room. There is no elevator here so I needed downstairs for my large rolling luggage. Be aware that as a no-frills budget accommodation, you won't get a microwave and there is no coffee maker. However, GNI provides free coffee every morning in the office, and it's good coffee (this is coming from a picky coffee drinker). Parking was ok but the spots are narrow here - so I discovered that parking in the back was safer for my vehicle. Be aware too that unlike a traditional motel, some rooms are located in the internal courtyard by the pool (which is a very pleasant area, it's where my room was), but it also means you can't park right next to your room. There's also free WIFI that was reliable at decent speeds. They have laundry facilities which came in handy, and a single microwave that guests can use if in a bind. Nearby are Albertson's, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, McDonalds, and Taco Bell (all walking distance). Locationwise if driving, you're not far from major shops/outlets & restaurants of San Fernando Valley (I drove frequently to the Canoga Park / Woodland Hills area), and the beach can be accessed by driving through the mountain pass. I am very happy I discovered this place! I will definitely be coming back.
