An attractive room, comfortable bed, next to a hiking trail, near a few convenience stores and restaurants. Beautiful surroundings. Easy and friendly check in.

It is absolutely ridiculous to charge $200 a night for a room and then add a $15 parking fee for the rather large parking lot on site. It seems like nickel and diming and lends the place a cheapo vibe when it is otherwise pretty classy. Also, the room smelled like body odor, unfortunately. My room was along the service driveway, and the trash truck was blasting the backup warning at 7 a.m., which I realize is not within the hotel's control, but was unfortunate.

We choose this hotel for three key reasons (1) Close proximity to Malibu (15mins) (2) LAX Airport (60) (3) It looked and sounded like a very nice hotel; it did not disappoint. Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had a great dinner in the bar area in the evening. Room was modern, clean and very comfortable.

It would have enhanced our lovely meal if the hotel had a dining room area as opposed to the bar area; the food was of restaurant standard. Our room could have had a bit more light, next time we would book a slightly bigger room but our room was lovely. We only stayed for one night. We would stay again without any hesitation.

Perfectly located to visit Malibu, Topanga and Santa Monica. We even made it to Los Feliz (on the Mulholland Highway and Ventura Boulevard) with very little LA traffic! Very luxe for the price. Complied with our request for a top floor room. The pool is gorgeously warm. Loved how each time we entered the room there was a delightful scent of cedar. For coffee snobs like me: bring your favorite keurig coffee or there's a Phil's Coffee two miles up the road.

I'm afraid that this hotel might be affordable for now to get us hooked, raising prices later.

It was a pleasant stay. I think the hotel is pretty new and needs a little time to get some Life or Patina to it. Cosy pool but clean and cold white themed rooms. But is was good

To pay for parking was the real downside. Put the 15 bucks on the room rate ... at that location every guest who is on a privat trip wonders about that. Especially when you have to park miles away from the entrance and not believe in any security measures which would justify it.

it was very clean, the food menu was nice. the pool area was lovely with towels available. the rooms were really nice and clean and had everything we needed. staff were really friendly, particularly Nicole from the bar, she was especially lovely to us and our girls, we all loved her. the hotel had everything we needed for our 8 night stay! the fire alarm went off 2 nights in a row in the middle of the night. although it woke us up it wasn’t a huge inconvenience but the staff reimbursed 1 nights stay and a bar bill without us even mentioning it, showed they noticed and cared!

the breakfast was a bit overpriced, charged the same as a full adult breakfast even though my daughter only wanted 2 items on it ($15) our toilet door didn’t lock and was really hard to close, but after mentioning it, it didn’t get sorted unfortunately. the location doesn’t really have much within walking distance but was a short drive to the commons with lots of shops and restaurants we loved, particularly marmalade!

The unit is clean. Elevator is fast enough and no noise. Mirror has cool features on it. One of the front desk gentleman was helpful when I need to stay one more day with another booking additionally.

One of the front desk lady with an updo hair sounded a little bit mean when I asked if I could have a little more time by noon to checkout. She said that there would be a late charge if after 11:17am.

The view, and that the hotel are relatively new.

The first night we stayed, the front desk staff called us twice because supposedly there was a noise complaint. The first call was at 10 pm The second call was even more annoying close to midnight, I was already sleeping we were already in bed. I don't know who can do a thing like that the first hotel that happened to us. Shame on you guys.

beautiful hotel inside, and beautiful area by the pool, very close to Malibu if you’re looking to spend a day in Malibu. about 8-10min drive to Malibu, about a 40min drive to LA depending on what time you drive may be more.

location was a bit weird, the hotel is beautiful then you step out and see Taco Bell and 7eleven. no offense to those businesses just was expecting something more local but Not a bad thing for midnight cravings if you have them.

I really like the location because it is near my daughter's home. It is a beautiful hotel with very pleasant staff. The portions for breakfast are perfect for our appetites. The service by the server, James, is excellent!

The pool area is very nice and child-friendly. The location is perfect for exploring Malibu and Hollywood!

There was a lot of loud noise in the building when I was in the business center. it was very disruptive and did not make for comfortable experience. Also the pool was closed which is where I had hoped to take my calls. The main door entry also had a weak sensor. It did not pick up on me trying to enter and wouldn't open the door. I had to do an awkward dance every time I tried to enter the hotel. Lastly, I prefer 12pm checkout times. having 11am is a bummer. I always need that extra hour to do my morning routine and workout.
