The room sizes (plural), the cleanliness of the bed and towels and bath (at least in my room) never gave me the creeps. Value I’ve never seen in California. My standards are low and high. I’ve worked and stayed at many top end properties doing sound. From the Plaza to the San Ysedro, to Motel 6’s and KOA’s (some KOA’s are better than a lot of top resorts sans amenities/service). On a scale of what you get this place is perfect for the price. Impossible to beat, and perfectly flawed. There was ice, an ice bucket with bag, and the ice didn’t taste funky. You’d be surprised how hard that is to find these days.

There are obvious corners cut to reduce costs. The soda vending machine dispenses warm drinks, but ice was available and buckets in the room. A slight worry about the area and security of my car, but nothing happened. And, uhh, the guy on the couch will check you in…

The heating system worked great, and the reserved parking space was excellent. The bed was very comfortable, and the room felt very private. The staff was friendly and helpful, and checking in/out was fast and easy. The fridge in the room was a nice addition.

The shower was a little antiquated. No password for WiFi was given, but I also forgot to ask so that's kinda on me. There was an ice bucket in the room but I didn't know where the ice machine was. It would have been nice if there was a vending machine on site for a soda.

We enjoyed that we were on a second floor above the parking. Somehow I suspected that it added to the quiet of the room. Check-in was a breeze and we found the room with no problem. All in all a wonderful experience

The TOWELS! What's with the tiny towels? Barely larger than a washcloth. It took both to dry off after a shower so only one of us had a shower. Yeah, Marinwood needs decent sized towels . . . .

The room was nice and had everything I needed for a night's stay. I liked that my room had a little car port under it where I was able to park my car. This gave me easy access to come and go from the room. The room seemed fairly clean and appeared recently renovated, and it included a mini fridge.

The carpets were pretty old and dirty, and it looks like they weren't replaced when some of the other updates were made to the rooms. Additionally, the front desk closes at a set time and doesn't reopen until 7 AM. Don't expect to be able to check in late or check out early if you have to be somewhere in the morning.

Something very good is that we came from a previous hotel, and in Marinwood from the first day they gave us a room with a refrigerator and microwave that helps a lot and everything was very clean, just for a few days away, highly recommended

When entering, to check in, perhaps a little better customer service would be more comfortable, having a diversity of visitors I think something more cordial would be good. It probably affects that I'm young and sometimes they don't take you so seriously.

Room was fine and the place was good. The manager was grumpy. We were to get a suite hen we landed there around 9 pm we were told no they don't have any and gave us a plain simple room. Very simple breakfast . All was ok. The staff and their attitude was way poor

We appreciated having a table in the room. We appreciate the upgrades, we see they've been working on these. We were able to get a room @ a good rate. We recommend staying here.

The fancy bowl sink looks beautiful, however splashes water all over the countertop. To help, add a shelf or better 2 for putting toothbrush & toiletries out of the splash zone. Would like towel rack for hand towel. Breakfast existed, but hoping for hard boiled eggs. Coffee machine worked, but took a long time. Great, if post clear directions 1) 2), etc. Very good coffee. Great place, highly recommend.

Spacious room with a fridge & microwave & plenty of room & storage. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything felt and looked clean. Good value & the free breakfast was also good and had one of the best waffles I’ve ever had in my life.

Front desk manager was unbelievably rude, he actually hung up on me on the phone because I was confused about my check in time and when I tried calling back he hung up on me a further 3 times. When I was checking out the person (different guy) was in the hotel front office on the couch with no shoes on on the guest side of the desk. The management was very rude & just plain odd.

The bed and room were excellent. Everything worked and was very clean. I did not go to the breakfast as it was just continental, and I had to be a location at 0730 hours to make sure everything was properly set up.

Going up the stairs. However, the parking and room were worth the climb from the covered parking to the room which was very close. Actually the parking and room were excellent as the vehicle was directly beneath my room. I usually stay in that same room when I get a room at the hotel which was 115.

Parking spaces were assigned but were not large. Mid size suv fit just ok.

My room had 1 flight of stairs to it. It was OK for me,but could see it as a problem .
