Eurotel Montreux

View and balcony were good. Location for train was great. Air Conditioning good. Food on site was on the expensive side but we found a great patisserie for breakfast and there were many options nearby for dinner. Also, supermarkets close buy for milk, sandwiches and salads.

Bathroom was tiny. Whilst the fittings in the bathroom were nice the room was so small that it was not even large enough for me to dry in--Goodness knows how someone larger than me manages.(I am only 50kg and 157cm. Hanging space was also very limited. There was an ironing board in the hanging area which we took out and put elsewhere otherwise we would have had no space.

Great location! The bed was very comfortable. There was coffee available in the room. Very accommodating to our dogs with a dogs bed in the room. Free coffee machine, sweets, and popcorn in the lobby! The view from our room (lakefront) could not be beat!

The restaurant and room service was closed due to COVID. There are plenty of food delivery options to make it less of a hindrance. The ramp over the entry stairs was not wide enough for our stroller. It was doable, but a pain. No ramp from the garage to the elevator. We had to take the stroller and our luggage up about 12 stairs. Then the elevator is tiny. Two adults, a stroller and a suitcase and we barely fit. It was an inconvenience, but we would still stay here again.

Amazing location! Right on the water. Beautiful views of the lake from the balcony. Definitely think it is worth it to upgrade to the balcony. The mini bar for the room option we chose was free, which was a really nice surprise-came with cocktail nuts, cognac, beer, gin, soda water, juice, ect. The lobby has a popcorn machine and a gummy candy station in the evening, which was a nice unexpected touch. The hotel is near the train station, and near an escalator that goes up the many stairs (not down) which is great. It has a hammam/sauna area and gym facing the water. The 8th floor has an ice machine, a free washer/dryer (pods at reception), and a microwave. I think these are amazing touches that really make a difference. The beds were comfortable

They had a concierge app to make requests before you arrive. We requested extra blankets and it was not provided. We asked the front desk and they still did not send them up. The curtains could be slightly more blackout but were still effective. The bathroom was a little outdated but still functional.

What a fabulous hotel. Perfectly situated on the lake shore. The staff are friendly, welcoming, kind and generous. The room was large and spacious with stunning views of the lake. Lovely morning breakfast on the terrace. Romain on the front desk / reception was amazing, he really made our stay exceptional, very attentive, superb attention to detail, he really deserves a personal mention for his dedication to his role and the hotel. I am super impressed with this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The lobby lounge area had complimentary soft drinks, tea, coffee, water and juices, as well as, warm popcorn and sweets (very nice touch). I almost forgot to mention the complimentary minibar which was replenished daily - such a great idea and very well received by us. So nice to come back after a very long day out and have some refreshments in the room.

Breakfast was good. The menu has a wide variety of food satisfying most people taste. The lake side tables were fantastic. I very much liked the refreshment in reception: coffee, popcorn, water with lemon and apple juice. This shows that someone cares for the residents of the hotel. The staff was wonderful in offering help to all.

The chef was not friendly and not available most of the time during the first day of our stay. When I ask why he is not available to serve the residents one of the staff told me he has other things to do, an answer I thought not responsible. The second day was available most of the time.

We enjoyed our stay at the Eurotel Montreux very much! The view from our room was amazing! We overlooked the city of Montreux, the snow-capped mountains, and Lake Geneva. The breakfast offered a great variety of foods, including pastries, cheeses, scrambled eggs, omelets, sausage, beans, bread pudding, smoked salmon, herring, fruit, lettuce, vegetables, and yogurt. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is conveniently close to the train station and bus stops, so it's easy to get around the area. It's also right at the edge of Lake Geneva, where there is a walking path with beautiful flower beds along the lake shore. We will stay at the Eurotel Montreux again!

The room had a gorgeous lake view Very good breakfast, with a lot of choices, fresh fruits and vegetables. Very good position, at less than 5 min from the train station. The popcorn machine and tea facilities offered 24/7 at the reception

Quite expensive for a 4 star hotel. You basically pay only for the view, so overall the hotel is overpriced The furniture was old, the hotel itself was old, with the exception of the bathroom which was recently renovated, but still very small, only one person could fit in it. No soundproof windows, we could still hear the traffic noise during the night. Also, there was no blackout curtains.

We stayed in a lovely room with a nice view and a balcony. The Eurotel is in a really good location...just 5 minutes from the railway station and right next to the lovely promenade which is the hub of all activity. The bus stop is right outside so it is easy to get around from here. The hotel gives you a travelcard which makes it super convenient to get around. Getting to the hotel from the train station requires you to take an elevator down two levels of streets. As you come out of the station look left and follow a blue line clearly marked on the street. This takes you to an elevator that will take you down to the level of the hotel. At street level take a right and you really can't miss the Eurotel as it is possibly the tallest building on the Riviera. Just a couple of 100 metres and you are there. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby is a great place to chill out for a while and the restaurant has a beautiful view. The rooms are lovely and the housekeeping staff is super. They do go the extra mile for you. The view from the room is spectacular and the room itself was quite spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Lots of lovely tourist attractions within walking distance and a whole line of restaurants along the promenade. There is also a mall nearby. Enough activity to keep you busy.

The bathroom was tiny so while it is fine for a short stay, longer would be a but tight.

I liked the location which is very convenient and the staff treatment. We have been upgraded to an upper floor room and a special thanks to Mr. Romain for that who is very professional and doing a great job at the reception. Also the serving team at the breakfast.. they maintain their quality level and respect all the time even during the crowd times. Another nice and unique thing in this hotel is the free coffee/tea machine and refreshing items offering to customers at the lobby all the time during the day.

Wifi signals were a bit weak some times which is a point for improvement. Its a small issue that might be there just in few rooms .. but that will not stop me coming back to this lovely hotel again.

The lobby provided free apple juice, fruit infused water, popcorn and sweets for all guests day and night. Refreshed regularly too. The room was lovely and spacious - larger than expected and had great views of Montreux. AC worked like a dream especially with the hot weather and the fridge with free refreshments was great! Bed very comfortable too. Prime location

Tv was very small considering the size of the room and distance from the bed that was used to watch it. Only BBC News in English too so very very limited on what could be watched/understood
