From the first moment I found the staff extremely friendly and willing to respond to requests. In addition, the staff was multilingual and willing to engage with the guests. The hotel was originally recommended by a friend in Lausanne and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The location is central and we could walk everywhere or take public transportation, metro or bus, because it is near the train station. My room was small, as I was traveling alone, but more than adequate in terms of convenience. It had everything that I needed including a safe. I heard from friends in Lausanne that Elite also has special rooms for a romantic get-away which members of their family had used. I am certain to stay in Elite again next time I go to Lausanne.

everything was great, great WiFi, clear and tidy room, great and helpful staff, breakfast was terrific .For location one could not ask for better and with free travel card provided by the hotel it made our life so easy to travel around without need to keep looking for place to buy a tram or bus tickets. plus it does save you money.

the hotel does not have air conditioning or coffee making facility specialy as we are very much coffee addicts. the staff did offer to make us coffee but breakfast was more then accommodating. during our stay the weather was cool and the 2 windows provided more then adequate ventilation. (with help of a fan)

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was charming, including The breakfast lady. 1min walk to the train station. Calm area.

The breakfast was just okay, let’s say it’s basic but good. Not too much choice. I doubt that the quality is very good. The pain au chocolate was just terrible, very dry and not buttery as it should be. Brioches and breads were good. There were no fruits like a fruit salad, just the whole fruits. Coffee was also very mediocre. The plugs were definitely from another century and honestly I didn’t feel very safe. There is a bit integrated box in the night table which make a lot of useless light in the night.

The hotel is on a quiet street, and it’s very close to the train station and Metro. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

It was very hot while I was there in July 2022, and the hotel has no air-conditioning. Although they gave me two fans for my room, I could never really sufficiently cool it off. My single room at the back had a window close enough to street level that I did not feel comfortable leaving it open at night to try to draw cool air into the room. You have to step up and over an extremely high tub wall to get into the shower. This was a little difficult without a grab bar and a slip hazard. The breakfast room is very nice and they provide a nice breakfast, although I wish they had had tomatoes (as some European hotels provide for breakfast).

The location is super central, close to the station restaurants and sights. Despite this, it is absolutely quiet, even on a Saturday night. It is also excellent value for money and it includes breakfast which isn't fancy but definitely does the job. If my GPS could have found it, I would have been able to park in front of the hotel.

I walked into the room and was transported back to my grandma. The smell, the carpet, the furnishings are all at least 40 years old. Looked after, but old fashioned. Let's talk about the bed: it is the age of the box spring bed and they definitely need to be replacing those beds. Old matrasses, creaking bed. I have no idea how my sister spent 2 weeks there. My back couldn't have taken it!

We had a ‘triple room’ which was actually a double en-suite room with an adjoining single room. The hot weather while we were there was mitigated by shutters on windows and provision of a fan for each room. Room had a fridge in which they gave us some water on arrival. Breakfast was in a pleasant dining room. Hotel provided travel pass enabling free use of metro, etc.

Limited choice of fruit available at breakfast (I think there was just an apple or two - but there was plenty of other food)

Hotel Elite is a small, well located and well looked after establishment. I stayed when passing through to attend multiple meetings and engagements. The staff were all friendly, professional and helpful in every single interaction. The design is a little dated, but the amenities are clean, and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the desk was suitable to work at. The rooms lighting was not very good for longer hours of work. Charging sockets were also not too practically placed for desk work. The public transport pass is convenient, with the metro a two minute walk away. There are plenty of food choices in the area. Breakfast provided by the hotel was fresh, providing the standard cereal, yogurt, bread and cheese options, alongside juice and hot drinks. Overall, the price, comfort and location was good value for money. But the service was outstanding, and I would absolutely recommend it, and stay there again when I pass through.

The lack of available sockets for laptop work. I was interrupted twice during a meeting despite putting the do not disturb sign on the door.

Great location near the station and on a quiet side street with parking right out front. Staff were all friendly and helpful and helped to sort out any questions we had. Room was nice enough, and clean, but a little dated - in fact the whole hotel felt a bit like that. For the price it’s right on the cusp of being acceptable value for money.

Pillows were ridiculous and almost pointless. Breakfast was also very meagre in terms of choice, and things like the croissant weren’t great.

The Hotel Elite is very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a lovely room with a balcony. The breakfast was delicious. We received a really warm and friendly welcome from every member of staff who were always happy to help. The location is ideal. It is close to metro, train and bus services and also it's easy to explore the beautiful city of Lausanne on foot. Lausanne is a special city with stunning lake and mountain views. On a sunny day Bellerive Plage is perfect for a swim. There are many boat trips from Ouchy. We would certainly love to return. I recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was fine, the room clean and cosy. The bathroom had a large shower room. The hotel was located near the enter, the train station and M2. I highly recommend the place.

Just a few negligible points. In 2022, I expected Wi-Fi to be free, while it wasn't and it wasn't even "fast" as they claimed. Moreover, and this surprised me a lot, since it's all about a hotel, no one - except for receptionists - spoke English (I'm referring to head waiters and cleaning service). I mean, at least know what "strawberry" means.
