Casa Soledad is really close to the center, you can walk to any place you want. The bedrooms are clean and spacious enough for a couple to stay and work. The staff is really kind and ready to help anytime, they even helped us to get faster wifi for a professional call.

The building is not really soundproof, the good thing is the area is quite quiet, so you won't be really disturbed. I would add a little shelf above the sink in the bathroom to be able to put toothbrushes and other skin care products.

the rooms are basic but attractive and very clean; the location is perfect for walking easily anywhere in the center; there is a nice shared kitchen with fresh drinking water

There is no one on site to answer questions; my arrival was very confusing because I came at night and didn’t know I would need to enter a code that had been emailed to me.

The location was pretty great. Super central, but without all the overwhelming noise of being in central Oaxaca. Walking distance from all the bars, restaurants, parties, etc, but distant enough for you to have a good night sleep. Ana and the staff were great and very accommodating. I had an issue with my first room and they were kind enough to change me. They also helped me with tips and with transport. The place is great value for money. And it's also configured in a way that facilitates the meeting of fellow travellers.

I had a problem with the first room I stayed in. Room Number One. Was a bit too noisy because of the water pump. But the staff was great and changed my room. And the shower also leaked. But things got much better when they changed me.

Nice place to stay in veri great position to visit Oaxaca. Rooms are large, clean and very quiet. The common areas are very pleasant. The kitchen is new and with all accessories. Hot and cold water always available.

When we arrived (1 hour after the minimum check in time), the room was still occupied by the previous guest who should have left in the morning. The other customer was also angry about the intrusion into the room because he said he had agreed on a late check-out with the hotel, but we already received the access code to our room and it was already afternoon! The situation was resolved by the girl who had to clean the room that was still occupied (she was very kind). However we didn't get the room we booked. The lack of a reception and the lack of remote support with messages have created these problems. The stay was still pleasant after the initial problem.

This hotel was ideal for our family vacation. We occupied 3 rooms so the house (converted to a hotel) felt like it was all ours. Beds were very comfortable, the place is very clean and the staff very helpful. Great location.

This is a big house converted into a hotel, so we recommend it for big families. We occupied 3 rooms so the house was almost all ours, but for a couple of nights there were other guests which we could hear when they arrived and left their rooms.

This place was probably one of the cleanest stays we’ve had in Mexico, everything was spotless! Bed was comfortable and great products in the bathroom. The outdoor courtyard was really cute and we appreciated the modern decor. Staff were very friendly during our stay and made extending very easy. Would definitely recommend for the price!

We swapped rooms halfway through our stay due to extending, the second room was much cooler on the ground floor and the bathroom drain smelt much better.

The location is excellent, close to the center and many restaurants around. Restaurants Humar and the best pizza in Oaxaca at Sicilia pizza y pasta are my top food choices. The water was always hot and with good pressure. Safe place with a nice design. They have a well-equipped shared kitchen. There's no room for the luggage, but you can live it just under the stairs after check out. I had a night bus and they allowed me to live my backpack there till I need. I appreciate it! Close to the bus terminal.

There is no reception and nobody there for check-in. I didn't know where is my room and how to find the key. They sent me the code to open a front door, but after entering the property everything else was confusing. The cleaning ladies don't speak English, but with Google translate, we figured it out and they gave me a room and a key. The wifi was slow sometimes and you need to update the connection every 10-15 min for a better signal. I preferred to not work from the hotel and just used local restaurants wifi. The place is very noisy. You can hear each car passing the street, every morning I woke up because the workers come and they talked loudly. And there is a neighbor's dog who constantly whines. Heartbreaking sound. Very good acoustic there.

The property was very clean and close to everything but not in a noisy street. Staff was great but were not there regularly. You’ll get a code before your arrival to go inside the building and to get your room key. They do let you store your luggage but under the stairs the lobby not in a closed room.

Our room was in the second floor and it kept pretty warm even with the window open and the fan turned on.

Good location, nice and new furniture in rooms. Easy check-in with codes if you arrive outside the reception time slots. Good cleaning (on request). Some communal space andentscheidend a kitchen available.

Good beds, but pillows a bit uncomfortable (thin). Can get a little noisy in the morning, if you have a room close to the reception. Curtains a bit small for the size of the windows.

An excellent stay. The maid and gardener were extremely welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. The internet was good, so I could work. Everything was of a high standard. Very clean in deed. Communication was good via the chat. Eg. getting the codes for the main door and bedroom. The fan in the room worked adequately. There was an iron available and extra bits and pieces. The main square is a ten-minute walk, mostly on the flat.

I requested to pay in cash on arrival, which was confirmed via the chat. However the money was taken from my account before arrival. There was a bit of noise at night from neighborhood dogs, and loud music from somewhere close by. Something to note if you’re a light sleeper like me. Taxis and tour guides seem to have a problem coming to the place. Not sure why? I needed to be dropped off/picked up on the corner.
