Very nice modern hotel in an excellent location with an excellent breakfast. They added a single cot/bed in the room for my son to stay with us. We did have to pay for a larger room, the cot and his breakfast, but the upgrade price was reasonable. Parking is located under the hotel, make sure that you enter the parking garage from the entrance on the left side of the hotel entrance and not the ramp down to the public garage which is slightly more money.

I forgot to ask them for credit for a previous booking I made two years ago that I had to cancel due to COVID.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for two nights and were impressed by the level of service provided. The staff exhibited utmost professionalism, with Alexandros going above and beyond when I realized I had lost my passport just before checking in. Thanks to his quick action, I was able to retrieve my passport in time before departing from Dresden. The hotel exudes a wonderful atmosphere, and despite the temporary closure of certain amenities during our stay, we were graciously granted complimentary access to the swimming pool and sauna at the nearby Hilton Hotel. Our room was exceptionally comfortable as well. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone, especially Alexandros, for their warm reception and invaluable assistance in locating my passport. I highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely modern hotel, central location in the old city, next to public transportation. Rooms are comfortable and modern. Free minibar was a great addition!

Two minor issues in townhouse room (not in regular room we also had): First, the bathroom and toilet both had door which did not completely shut, bathroom had a sliding door and toilet - a glass type one. We prefer more privacy, especially when travelling with children or friends. Second, something on the upper floor of the townhouse made a loud, short sound every once in a while, like a machine working for 5-10 secs, including during the night. It did not wake us up but wasn't pleasent. Also gym was very small and without air conditioning, so difficult to work out in during the summer... Nothing major and would stay here again, but all worth mentioning.

The position, one road from the FrauenKirche was excellent, quiet but very convenient as a 3 minute stroll to Frauenkirche. Driving to it and parking was very easy, even though it was right near all the main sights in Dresden. The rooms were up to the great Standard that Melia Hotels provide. Excellent beds and great bathroom, complementary mini bar and kettle with coffee and tea.

This Melia seems to have been a much larger tourist hotel which was upgraded to Melia Standards, so some of the furniture and fixtures and carpeting in the public areas and passages were not quite as on trend, as other Melia's,
