Townhouse Dresden

Townhouse Dresden is perfectly situated right in the heart of Newmarket in Dresden. Our incredibly spacious room overlooked the square with three huge picture windows, and while we were there the Autumn Market was taking place, so it was lively and picturesque. The bathroom was enormous, with separate spaces for shower, bathtub, toilet, and preparing to get ready for the day. The rain head shower was amazing! Breakfast was very good, with many fresh and healthy options including a juicing station which was much appreciated. A la carte offerings were also available at no extra cost if you include the breakfast as part of your stay. Beds and bedding were very comfortable.

Nothing really to note, but if I were to be very picky, I would say that It would have been nice to have bacon and sausages available at breakfast. However, they did have a whole baked ham available for slicing every day.

The hotel is super well located, right in the Neumarkt and close to all restaurants and attractions. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was in the Classic Double room, which surprisingly was quite a big room for a classic room. The room was well decorated, with a very nice standing shower and with a lot of storage. There was quite some variety in the breakfast, with a very good strong coffee :) I slept also very well, and in general enjoyed my stay in the hotel. For the gym lovers: Townhouse has an amazing fitness centre, with quite modern equipment's. Impressive!

If I had to complain about something, it would be the tv options: there was only German tv channels.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a very good hotel, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped foot in the lobby, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The hotel itself was stunningly beautiful, with elegant decor and a luxurious ambiance. The room I stayed in was spacious and immaculate, with modern furnishings and all the amenities one could need. The comfortable bed ensured a restful night's sleep, and the blackout curtains allowed me to sleep in without any disturbance.

However, there was one downside to my stay - the breakfast options were quite expensive. While the quality of the food was excellent, I found the prices to be on the higher side. As a result, I opted to explore nearby cafes and eateries for more affordable options. Although this did not significantly impact my overall experience at the hotel, I understand that it may deter some guests who prefer a reasonably priced breakfast. Despite this minor drawback, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service, luxurious ambiance, and top-notch facilities. It is undoubtedly a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable stay. Just be prepared for the higher prices associated with the breakfast options.

The location is fantastic. You cannot get a more central location. We had the deluxe double room with views over the Neumarkt. The room was really large, nicely decorated, clean with a bath and very comfy beds. The breakfast was wonderful and we loved our stay.

Our only complaint was that the hotel website didn't provide instructions on where to go when parking the car. At least, we couldn't find it and it made our arrival a little confusing. We would suggest a link with a map on the website or some notes in Bookings.com.

It's a really nice hotel with a fantastic location in Neumarkt square and 5-minute walking to the Zwinger. The staff was very attentive, especially at the front desk, and the facilities were really nice. Our room was good with a very comfortable bed and a good view to the Square.

The breakfast was good, but unfortunately there wasn't a lot of alternatives there. Mostly ham and pork every day, and no potatoes or baked potatoes whatsoever. I wish we could have gotten a room in a higher floor because the view to the square was very nice. We got a room in the first floor instead (second floor in the US) and below to the restaurant. Honestly, it was kind of noisy at nights.

Imagine flying all night from the LAX into Berlin, arriving at the break of dawn, picking up a rental car and driving two plus hours to Dresden, and arriving at your hotel dead tired several hours before scheduled check-in. But, upon arrival being greeted warmly by the Hotel Desk Clerk, who went out of his way to help us park our car (Underground parking with an access point located in an obscure point across the Town Square) and arranged an early check-in for our room. Now imagine a room of generous size, overlooking the Town Square, with excellent beds (and bedding) and all the comforts of home. We spent three nights here and would not hesitate to return to this very fine hotel again in the future.

In room coffee service would be appreciated, but other than that, this place was awesome. The Staff were wonderful, the room was excellent, the included breakfast was outstanding.

Best location in the city. Walk out the door and you are in the heart of the historic area with lots of cafes and restaurants. Not noisy at night as pedestrian only. We had the best sleep ever, very comfortable beds in very elegantly designed rooms. Huge bath (and shower) with really hot water and lovely toiletries. Breakfast excellent too. Hot dishes cooked to order with a good buffet. All very good quality produce. Staff professional but friendly and a nice relaxed feel to the hotel. Lovely lounge where you can make yourself a coffee or tea during the day. Oh, and a great really fast lift so you’re not waiting ages to get back up to your room.

The room was very spacious, and so was the bathroom. The bed was big and had comfortable pillows. A yoga mat was provided in the room, which was a nice plus. The room looked out onto the inner courtyard and, although it happened to be next to the elevators, it was incredibly quiet. The staff was very kind in accommodating our request for early check-in and late check-out. Very nice breakfast with some yummy complimentary dishes that were not part of the main buffet. Finally, super central location.

It would have been nice to have foreign channels on the TV (unless I wasn't able to find them).

Location, absolutely amazing. Walking distance to all attractions in Dresden. Restaurants, bakery shops etc. Hotel itself really clean. Nice staff and spacious rooms. Good bathroom. Dog bed and dog bowls for the dog. Carpark directly connected to hotel lobby by elevator. So easy for luggage. Definitely recommended.

Parking fee. Daily rate from parking itself is 25 euro. Parking rate from hotel is.... 25 euro. That can be cheaper. You must have rented or bought these spots. So for guests you can also charge 15 euro a night.
