Hyperion Hotel Dresden Am Schloss

Staff friendly and helpful. Excellent location in the old town, close to Christmas Markets, bars and restaurants. The hotel bar was excellent, fantastic cocktails and staff friendly and entertaining. The room layout was fantastic, very comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast buffet was excellent, massive choice to fit all needs. Highly recommended and we would definitely return.

The temperature of our room was a little low for us, even when we turned the thermostat up a bit it didn't seem to make a great deal of difference however I suspect this was due to the room layout with such a high ceiling. Not a major problem though as we didn't spend a great deal of time in the room.

Lovely and modern room. Bathroom was cool. The bed was comfy. Location was excellent. Shower pressure also excellent. Bedroom is also big which is nice. Very convenient and safe parking location. The staff are excellent and very friendly. We arrived a little bit early and they helped us check-in and did not make us wait around.

The pillows were far too soft which resulted in a bad night sleep. Two pillows together and they were completelt flat. It would have been good to have firm pillows or some firm pillows in the wardrobe so you have the choice at least to change.

Perfect location opposite the 'Green vault.' The room was large, the buffet-breakfast was plentiful and we enjoyed relaxing in the executive lounge which has an excellent selection of sodas, beer, coffees etc, (definitely pick a room that allows access to the exec lounge - it's worth the bit extra.) Highly recommended.

The steam room and sauna are mixed and 'textile-free' which apparently is common-place in Germany but may come as a shock to UK travellers!

I loved the room and the cleanliness of the apartment. The fitness and Spa areas were fine and always tidy. The room was also quite big and the curtains paired with the air conditioning made the room perfect for sleeping.

I didn't like the fact that the bathroom was open to the main sleeping area. I am fine with the shower and everything just for the toilet I would wish for a separate soundproof room. Other than that I have nothing to complain about.

Location is the best! Hotel itself is nice too :).

Sad that you can’t reserve a parking place and kinda book it for your entire stay at the hotel. I mean we were lucky and there were places at the parking when we arrived. But then if we would drive somewhere the other day for a short trip and then return to hotel I’m pretty sure we would not be able to park there anymore... Parking is a bit hidden by the way :).

Incredible location in the historic area of beautiful Dresden. The room was lovely; well set out, gorgeous amenities and pillows to die for! I slept really well and awoke every morning to young music students busking in the street below. The hotel bar was super, and the lobby was welcoming and comfortable. The wellness area in the old cellars was fabulous and I enjoyed a spa treatment. The Hyperion had just the right amount of luxury whilst also feeling comfortable.

The only thing I did not like, was having to leave for my next destination :)

The location is right in the centre of Dresden. They had a concierge who was able to recommend and book a restaurant for me. Staff were able to sell stamps and post out my postcards for me. The bar in the hotel is very nice and relaxing.

The wait to check in. 3 reception staff were dealing with check in and different separated desks. Check in took though a long time with people just jumping in with queries. I can't stand for very long due to disability but there was no way to mark a place in a queue and sit my turn

In front of the castle (schloss), very convenient for tourists like us. Very large rooms, overlooking the castle, with equally large bathrooms, very well furnished. Good breakfast (20 euros) Excellent, collaborative and attentive staff: it was the birthday of one of us and they let her find a small gift and greeting card

Excessively expensive laundry service

Very centrally located hotel in walking distance of many great sights of beautiful Dresden. Good, quiet room, good breakfast (we only got it one day: it's also expensive), small bar.

Very warm room, cramped parking and it was NOT possible to charge our electric car (and that is not due to bringing your own cable: the charging stations simply are not compatible).

Fantastic perfect location. easy to get to from station 4th stop off thestreplatz centre of everything x walking distance to everything

the room was very clean, showe etc great however there is no wall from toilet to bed so when u have a family you have no privacy in the toilet just one door with the sink right in front of toilet door
