Dorint Hotel Dresden

The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice. It was not too noisy. The location was great and very well-connected.

The pillows were too flat and soft. The bathroom door is sliding, made from matte glass, and did not close fully. The curtains were not black-out. There was no suitable place for getting ready. The only mirrors were in places with very poor lighting and without a good vanity area. The closet was really poorly sized, without any shelving and too much open storage. There was no heating/cooling system in the room. Loud noise from the street could be heard sometimes.

The ideal location of the hotel. Walking distance from the old town and main attractions. The room has large panoramic windows. It's nice that the room does not have a shower, but a bathtub. Delicious breakfasts, good selection. The room has everything you need. It is convenient that there is a kettle in the room, you can drink tea. Very friendly staff. At the end of the trip, I forgot my silver jewelry in the room safe, I was contacted very quickly and kindly offered to mail my jewelry back 😊 Everything went great thanks for the great service! quiet, comfortable sleep, super friendly staff.

it is a pet friendly hotel but they have old carpet everywhere, which is not easy to keep clean(more so if you invite pets, it can even be dangerous and easily infestation super spreader of bugs) I was at least expecting a water bowl for my pet in the room but did not get anything for pets other than a charge bill. Pets are also not allowed at the breakfast area at all which put me off from getting the breakfast there.

Location is fantastic, just a short walk from the cities amazing architecture, restaurants and shopping centres. Hotel looked really beautiful inside and the rooms were always clean with house keeping coming every day. Were really accommodating to my needs and was able to speak to me in English as I knew very little German.

Parking is a little expensive. Had booked a room with a double bed but this couldn’t be fulfilled and had twin beds pushed together to make a double. Wasn’t ideal for a couple that wanted to be sleeping in the same bed. Sometimes was woken early hours by bin collections outside the room on the first floor.

A very helpful staff who accommodated our desperate need for safe parking place outside of the hotel's underground parking. Thank you once again :-) Good suggestion on the restaurant with local food in old center. We followed it and had a nice evening there. Perfect breakfast with various options. Great location. Old town within foot distance

Not sure if it fully complies with 4* class. It seemed like there was no aircondition in the lobby and in the rooms (at least we didn't find any control panel. We slept with a window open.Furniture in the room looked like from "old times". Nevertheless it was very clean.

Great location, near enough to city centre and close to where I needed to be for work. Nice hotel, large rooms, comfy bed and nice room facilities. Friendly staff.

There were no tea and coffee makihng facilities in the room and no where during the daytime to get a drink. Housekeeping didn't clean the room daily as I expected, but apparently this is because I didn't ask them to do so, a new one on me. Breakfast was nice but a little on the pricy side, I've paid less in HIlton.

We loved the pool and sauna complex. The room was great but overheated in winter.

The breakfast is very pricy but good. We were there over the New Years period and it was not possible to use the restaurant on the New Years Eve - it would be nicer if the hotel guests had an automatic access to this restaurant even on NYE. The hotel parking is tiny and very expensive so you have to park outside (very close though).

The breakfast was very good, with many options. The additional bed was very comfortable. The pool area is not crowded. The hotel is within walking distance of the old town. The tram stops are very close. Parking on the weekend is free next to the hotel on the street. Hygiene-Museum is just behind the building.

We received just one card for the door despite we were two adults, but this mistake was fixed after. The pool is for additional money, this should be more visible in the description of services. One free water bottle for the whole weekend for 3 people in the room is unacceptable.

Tram stop out the front taking you to any part of the city. Short tram ride (or 20 min walk) from hauptbahnhof. Room was basic but comfortable. Shower was wonderful. Loved having a coffee machine and fridge in the room. Short walk to Old town area, VW factory, gardens and river.

The pillows were extremely soft even when doubled over.

Breakfast had a good choice and was good Room was clean

Hotel does not have air conditioning and whilst it did not effect our stay, if it was very warm outside, rooms would be uncomfortable Again, we were advised so it not effect our stay, but restaurant not open Sunday or Monday? Reception looked a little dated Charge for using pool
