Large room. Nice to have breakfast included. Staff in the breakfast area very friendly. Appreciated the complimentary newspaper. Great that coffee is included in the room. Walking distance to the Forks.

Had to pay for parking, thought it was included. Would be much nicer once the pool is fixed. Would be great if the air conditioner would make less noise.

Easy walk to VIA Winnipeg station and the downtown area. Nearby bus stops to get to and from the airport cheap and easily. Handy laundry facilities and secure bag storage area. Staff at front desk are friendly but seem a little unsure of themselves. Nice dove amenities provided in bathroom. Comfy bed. Lots of power plugs plus good coffee machine and fridge available in room.

Only lamps for lighting in main section of the room, it would be so much easier and better looking with just an overhead light. I was told I could pay for my stay on a different card upon checkout but overnight they slid a receipt under my door that the stay had already been charged to my original card. Shower is very hot even at medium setting. There is road works out the front of the hotel so taxis and ubers get a bit confused about whether to still meet at the front or in the car park at the back.

this is the first time I have been charged for parking at this hotel. I was told all the other hotels downtown charge for parking. that is probably true, but I didn’t like the surprise charge.

Staff at main desk are friendly and efficient. We tend to stay here as we come in from a rural setting and its location and off street parking is very handy for us. Considering the issues with personal safety on the streets of Winnipeg, we feel quite safe at the Humphrey. Id like to recognize the young man who was doing security in the back area where guest car parking is located. He was very helpful, with excellent communication skills and friendly demeanor.

We came to Winnipeg to visit the Human Right museum and the Humphrey Hotel is walking distance to the museum. It also very close to the Fork. We found some very good bistros like "Modern Electric lunch" on main Street next to hotel. You may want to try Clementine in the financial district.

Both nights we were woken up by the same group of people. The first night I call the front desk and they kindly handle the situation. And the breakfast is below average so we ate out.

The location was perfect for downtown, the historic waterfront area, the human rights museum and the train station. Every one of the staff were friendly, helpful and happy to offer advice re local eateries etc. The room allocated was lovely, spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts provided were satisfactory. Coffee was available 24*7. There was also laundry facilities available on site which was very good.

The swimming pool and spa which which advertised were not available which was disappointing given the recent very warm weather being experienced in the area. Also a deposit of $150 was taken to cover potential damages. This is the first time I have come across this on my trip across Canada.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. All areas were very clean. Room was very welcoming. Comfortable apholstered chair with attoman plus a desk chair. Often for 2 people, one gets an uncomfortable chair and the other sits on the bed. Large room and a comfortable bed.

I didn't like payinng for parking, especially when my car got broken into. However I understand with location parking is a premium, and it was only $10. I was just surprised. Couldn't have gotten much closer to the door. So with my husband and mobility issues, this was perfect. Some idiot smashing the passenger window, rifling through the garbage bag and taking a $25 pair of sunglasses was not the hotels fault. It just ruined our stay in Winnipeg.

This is the first hotel I've stayed in that accommodated someone with Celiac. They were able to provide me with a gluten-free breakfast which I am so thankful for. Didn't have to go out to eat first thing in the morning. Five stars for that! Thank you so much! To top it off, the room was quiet, didn't hear anyone/noise from the adjoining rooms and even upstairs or below us, was a very quiet building. The room was very clean, the bed was firm n comfy and loved the heated bathroom floor, bonus! I recommend this hotel!

The building was a charming old stone structure located within walking distance of the train station, the Forks, the Human Rights Museum and downtown shopping. The hotel was easily accessible from the airport by bus or a $20 taxi ride. I had requested early check-in and was in my room before noon. The room was large and comfortably appointed with some pleasant art work on the walls and real glass tumblers and china teacups. The bathroom was large, with good towels. Very satisfied.

Nothing really

I was really just needing to get away, it was an emergency situation. I had a lot of stress and anxiety going on. I had a flight out to Vancouver the next morning. Right when I arrived, I felt at peace. I arrived around 8-9pm and the people at the front desk were so nice and welcoming. My room was soooo comfortable. So clean and tidy and spacious! All my stress went away when I got there. They have a good selection of snacks and drinks too! Also the breakfast is a bonus!

There was nothing to dislike.
