Fairmont Winnipeg

Excellent downtown location, minutes walk from every major attraction and restaurant. The staff, drinks and food at the Blue Velvet lounge (and morning breakfasts) are beyond compare. This is truly a 5-start hotel, with an equally amazing, courteous and helpful team. The bathroom, shower and amenities were amazing!

Our King room was not available when we arrived, likely due to overbooking from ongoing conferences. The "double bed" room provided was less than stellar, but provided us with a spot to sleep during our 4 night stay. Apart from that, the rest of the stay was excellent!

The staff is fantastic and as a result the service is excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The hotel decor and furnishings are well used and could use an update. The ventilation system seems to be in need of an update as we could smell breakfast cooking in our room on the 18th floor. Unfortunately, while the location used to be excellent, the downtown core of Winnipeg has become much grittier through the pandemic, and though safety and security are not an issue in the hotel, walking around at night might be a bit touch and go.

We like the swimming pool we're in and everyday with the grandchildren. Service excellent the way you had everybody dressed was like in a fashion show excellent. We are coming back again in April for a longer trip. Thanks again, can't wait to come back and meet new people. Excellent

Our safe did not work, but that's not a problem. Life is too short to worry about the small stuff.

We spent our wedding night at this hotel. Since it was our 40th anniversary we decided to stay here again. It is still a very nice hotel. It is walking distance to many nice restaurants.

The parking is in a public parkade right next door but at an extra cost charged by the hotel. They gave us a parking ticket to insert instead of our credit card. The final charge at the parkade exit was half the price of what we paid the hotel.

the rooms location was good, 8 th floor corner room

the carpets are getting pretty old looking, no plastic bags liners for the ice buckets.... miss communication on the parkade ... ended up paying when we left part way thru our stay, because I did it as the man at the front desk told me so I didn't get the free parking for the whole time. The. I asked at the desk when we left I would have to talk to the parkade people not the hotel

The bed was heavenly, I will be purchasing a mattress for sure! The staff was all amazing and the breaky is 10/10! Also being walking distance from the forks was a huge plus!

I wish there was more control of the temp in the room, 16 didn’t feel cool enough and you couldn’t increase the fan as it was already at high.

The staff was great! Every one was helpful and friendly. Loved the swimming pool! Great quality time with my daughter and grandchildren!

The only thing I didn't like was we didn't receive our wake-up call for 3am, thank god my husband was awake!! Otherwise it would of been a disaster. Every thing

I like how the elevator goes to the underground facilities. I like the bath robs, the big comfy beds and how friendly the door guys were. The city view was good, not great but good.

I didn't like how long it took to get my money back from the damage deposit, was hopin. Didn't like the inconvenience with the parking.

Noah at the front desk was able to get our rooms across the hall from each other. The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs, The shower was wonderful.

The elevator seemed to stimy everyone I encountered. Could not tell what floor they/we were on.

The beds are heavenly, the rooms are very well taken care of: the cleanliness, as well as the general maintenance A/C is quiet and the temperature at c/in was comfortable. Great location for exploring the city, the doorman and the front desk lady were very friendly and helpful.
