Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre

The rooms were excellent! Super clean and had everything we needed. We stay here usually once a year and it’s our little happy place. This time I was particularly great, as the pool service has seemed to improve. There was staff and maintenance in to check the pool several times an hour, and restock towels often. The maintenance man doing so was extremely friendly and asked us how the pool was and had a friend chat about our stay. It trullg made my day.

We were told we could pay with debit as long as they held $300, which we were fine with. The staff gave us a bit of flack about it and said how that wasn’t allowed but they would honour it. Which they also gave us the exact same speech about a year ago when we stayed. We do the diligence to call ahead and make sure it works, so I’m not sure why we should feel like we need to apologize when we go to pay for our room. Minor inconvenience, the place is always great when we go, just something I thought I should mention.

Hotel was beautifully clean and comfortable. Room was a great size for us as a couple. Hotel was next to the airport which was great for us as we didn’t want to stay in downtown, but was also right beside the hwy to Banff which we wanted. Hotel staff couldn’t of been friendlier and the man who checked us in couldn’t have helped us more (I didn’t get his name). the restaurant also had great food and opened late, and room service was available throughout the night.

The hotel os close to many restaurants and grocery store. The front desk officer are so accomodating and helpful to all my inquiries. Been a long time since our last travel so I was surprised how the Express Check-out works well as we have an early flight going back to winnipeg . It was very convenient. I like their lobby. Simple amd cozy. The housekeeping was great keeping our room tidy and clean everyday coming from the outside roadtrip.

The A/C in our room is not cooling so well. Been calling the front desk everyday to make our room cool. Me and my youngest son keeps sweating during our sleep. other than this issue everything is nice. We will be coming back in this hotel.

We loved the pool. Since we were with the baby, I was glad the pool was not too deep. (1.5m) Lobby was beautiful too. Internet was fast and staff was friendly

The room only had lights on one side (towards the windows) so it was pretty dark. Really wish that the reception told us that we needed to punch the key to move the elevator. We were standing there pushing buttons for a minute figuring it out by ourselves. Also, we requested crib and it was not ready beforehand. We got it faily quickly tho.

The room was clean and bathroom was very nice. The breakfast staff was amazing and food was very good. The restaurant itself was very well run. The front desk representative, "Erin"(?) was amazing and helped me upgrade one of my rooms to a larger one at a busy time. Very helpful staff overall. Hotel itself was very nice and fancy feeling though affordable.

Location wasn't the best in that to get downtown you had to take the busy highway. Back door card key didn't work after a certain time and I had to help arriving visitors in phoning the desk to get it opened, in the end another guest opened the door for us instead.

The staffs there are very nice and helpful, and the hobby is quite classic-style and bright and quite as well. The coffee maker in the room is perfect！There are several choices of tea bags which is very friendly to people with different tastes.

Anyway，I couldn't find the AC remote in the room and the temperature during the night was a bit low. Besides, the curtains in the room don't cover perfectly so that the bright sunlight leaked into the room in the early morning and woke me up

The hotel itself is very clean and neat. Food & service at the restaurant is better that others. Staff at the front desk are very helpful. The Shuttle buses are on time and Drivers are very Accomodating. Thank you

The recommended TAXI affiliated with the hotel were not as professional as expected. Not punctual and organized. The room cleaner is very nice, except for the bathrobe in the room does not smell fresh. Thank you

Room was clean, had everything needed for an overnight stop, friendly staff, good location for a quick stopover.

The reception missed picking us up from the airport, missed booking our shuttle back to the airport, and in the end had to scrabble to book us a private taxi which we then had to argue with the driver about how paid! The shuttle was $5, which we had paid to reception, the taxi driver wanted $50. The payment was sorted out quickly with a discussion with the taxi driver, but the service from reception staff was below standards.

We had a King bed room for just i night which was very spacious and comfortable. Room service menu and breakfast buffet was good. Hotel location is good adjacent the main road network and retail parks for supplies etc.

there was a mix up with our booking but it was resolved and we were given a discount for the inconvenience. the main horizon restaurant was closed so we had room service which was very good and the portion sizes were large !!

I've stayed at Calgary Plaza more than once and it's always exceptional. The staff is by far the best trained and friendliest that I've encountered. From managers to support staff they are so friendly and accommodating. Everything is spotless and top notch. The restaurant is another high point. Food and service is excellent.

Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.
