Relais & Châteaux Stikliai Hotel

The hotel was very cozy and located in the heart of the Old Town. Despite of the location there was no annoying noise from traffic or bars etc. nearby. The room was spacious enough and bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good variety of everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful and took into consideration all our wishes. Overall the relaxing atmosphere gave us a splendid break after long and stressful work period.

Just before leaving to airport we had a quick lunch in hotel's tavern, Alude. And it really became a quick one due to terrible service. We had 1,5 hours before our transportation and thought that it could be more than enough to eat something. According to information in menu, the preparation of the meal should take 30 minutes, but we had to wait 75 minutes and then had to eat it in a great hurry to catch the taxi. There were totally 10 clients in the restaurant and we didn't have anything special in our order. The waiter just vanished somewhere all the time and some other clients complained since they wanted to pay the bill but the waiter was not available. However, the meal was very tasty but I hate to eat if I have to watch my clock all the time while eating.

Excellent boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Spa facilities are lovely and available for private reservation 1 hour per day. Hotel has a homely feel with spacious rooms. Beautiful courtyard seating area. Reported to be one of the nicest hotels in Vilnius, however, I think there are better options, although they have more of a corporate feel.

Spa facilities can be tricky to reserve at your preferred time, so book early. There is no room service which is surprising for a 5 star hotel. Other drink requests to the room took a long time. The breakfast is nice, although not an extensive selection. The breakfast room appears understaffed and items are not often replaced if they run out, this relates to some foods but also cutlery and plates, which results in having to constantly ask the staff to find items for you. We also ate one evening at the attached Tavern, also owned by the hotel. The staff here were not particularly welcoming or friendly with quite poor service. I would not really recommend the food here either.

The hotel is located in the center of the old town, with everything on walking distance. Five star comfort in old historic buildings and a wonderful helpful staff. Rooms and bathrooms are nicely renovated and provide modern comfort. The breakfast buffet is elaborate and many items can be ordered, freshly prepared. We booked the SPA facilities for exclusive use, after walking the city in the cold. Pleasant and relaxing experience. Taxi from the airport is about Euro 20 but alternatively buses run very frequent for euro 1 pp. During summer breakfast is served in an open courtyard.

We loved everything about the hotel - room with spa-like bathroom, location in very clean old town near many restaurants and main square, and especially the breakfasts were exceptional! The building is so unique and charming, it's online pictures can't do it justice. All the reception staff, especially Andrus and Vytus, were so gracious, welcoming, and helpful,, we felt so comfortably 'at home' for our week at this truly special hotel. We'll return as soon as we can!

receptionist, she was very kind and profesional. Common areas are really beautiful. Very nice smell in all the hotel. Very comfortable bed. Good quality cosmetics.

I think some of places must be renovated . Especialy i felt it in bathroom. It is already too old for a place like that. Shower was not working as it used to be. The biggest disappointment was breakfast. Buffet was very nice, but we ordered eggs Benedict, and twice it was made totaly wrong. First not cooked, second time over cooked. We got apology, but i think in 5*htl it should never happen, with such an easy dish. Also it was sad to know that the bar in htl is closed on Sundays. So we wanted to get a drink and had to go elsewhere. I believe these small things will be fixed on our next stay.

When we first made the reservation, I specifically requested a room with bathtub, which was also confirmed by the hotel the same day. when we arrived in our room it didn’t have a bathtub. they changed our room straight away and we got our room with bathtub, but unfortunately, the tub wasn’t working properly and water was leaking out of the tub. we asked for a solution, they said have a look or to fix it, but it never happened.

We booked two nights of 'staycation', and the hotel exceeded our expectations so that we extended our stay. Anticipatory service and super attentive staff. We had a Business Double, the bed was comfortable, quality bedlinen, soft gowns, Sothys toiletries, the room & bathroom were spotless clean. Fast and secure internet connection. The breakfast was excellent, very flavoursome food and quality produce, and cook-to-order menu available. The value is amazing. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it if you plan to spend a couple of nights in the Old Town of Vilnius. The surrounding area is as cute as a chocolate box picture with cafes, restaurants and winebars are at a 3 min walk distance. The hotel is beautifully designed in a French classic style.

You can't fault the place, it's a charming boutique hotel with a pool.

This hotel in the former glassblowers (Stikliai) district is truly stunning. I loved the fat little glassblowers on the main door handles and the paintings on the façade. Many famous people have stayed here. We enjoyed excellent breakfasts with plenty of choice. The scrambled eggs were the best I have tasted in any hotel. Some dishes can be made to order. We had a beautifully decorated room with a large bathroom. The members of staff were amazingly helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was very good and near to everything, yet not nearly as busy or as noisy as Pilies Street (or Vilnius Street on a Friday night). The spa, sauna and pool complex was very relaxing. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

At first our room was very hot and there was an issue with water coming from the air-conditioning (which was fixed promptly). As a result, we opened the windows but then, as the room was at the front of the hotel, we got occasional noise from the street (mainly people singing as there is not a lot of traffic). At night, it took us a few minutes to block out the street light with the blackout curtains attached to the main curtains. However, all of these were minor problems and we would certainly stay at The Stikliai again (but perhaps ask for an inner courtyard room).

The male receptionist was extremely pleasant, helpful and friendly. The rooms were excellent, the location was great. The garden was gorgeous. Overall, the hotel has a French vibe and is stunning.

We were not told that we couldn’t get any food from the hotel late in the evening and the male working at Alude bar was paying more attention to the guests from outside than us. He was quite off-putting and not very professional. The bar inside the hotel was closed during the whole stay which was inconvenient. The breakfast was good, but we were the only ones in the breakfast room and there was absolutely no servers. After 15min I walked to look for them to order some coffee. I entered the kitchen and the waitress was in there on her phone. Also the strawberries on the buffet were off which slightly put me off the entire buffet. I hope in the future the owners will make it more of a 5 star experience for staying guests.
