Artis Centrum Hotels

The hotel is in a very good location close to the Bell Tower, Gedimino g, Vilnius g and the old town in general. We walked from the raolway station which took about 20 minutes, down Pylimo g. The hotel itself is a very fine building, the room was spacious and comfortable. I requested a shower (not a bath) and this was very spacious. The breakfast included a very wide choice, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, meets and cheeses, a variety of breads and cooked options (sausages, eggs etc) which set us up for the day really. All very nice

The main reason we chose this hotel was the spa and wellness facility which was reported on both Booking.com and the Hotel's website and for a Christmas stay in Vilnius was top of my list of requirements. At no point in the booking process did it state that the spa/wellness facilty is closed from end of September until end of April (energy saving measures). The day before arrival at the hotel I received an email informing me of this fact - too late to book an alternative hotel. This was very dissappointing.

A beautiful old hotel with a lot of character and charm. Rooms were of a good size and were serviced daily. Excellent location. A few minutes walk to Gediminas Square, shops, bars and restaurants. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of food to cater for all tastes.

The air conditioner didn’t appear to blow out any cold air. Other people we were travelling with also said the same thing. It wasn’t an issue for us but people with mobility issues may find all the different levels of the hotel a bit tricky to navigate and some of the ramps were dangerous.

Things that stood out for me while staying at Artis Centrum Hotel: 1. Strategic location: nestled in the heart of Vilnius and within walking distance to main iconic sightseeing attractions. 2.Comfort: we stayed at a double bedroom with outstanding view and comfortable beds. 3.Breakfast: breakfast variety is amazing and restaurant atmosphere is extremely cozy and elegant. 4.Cleanliness: rooms, corridors and main amenities within the hotel and it's immediate exteriors are impeccably clean and up to high standards. 5.Price: hotel accommodation cost is reasonable at the time of this review for similar range of hotels. 6.Staff: hotel staff were extremely courteous and highly professional in their demeanor and helpful throughout the stay.

Room for more improvements: 1. Bathroom: there is need for some refurbishment and maintenance of bathroom facilities. 2.Provision of concierge service when guests arrive with big luggages especially as main entrance is not on the same level as reception area.

The hotel is elegant in an unshowy way and the staff are incredibly helpful. My room was quite large and nicely furnished with plenty of room to relax or work and (important) a window that could be opened. Very clean indeed and a roomy bathroom with bath and shower, which was very effective. The breakfast buffet was very varied and ample, with fresh, prepared fruit, yoghurt, Keffir and a great range of both cold buffet items, pickles and quite an array of hot food. Lovely pastries too and all the coffees on tap. The location couldn't be better - quiet with low traffic but a minuite or two's walk from all the attractions you'll want to see in Vilnius - the President's Palace, the Cathedral, Piles Street and Vilnaus for restaurants and shops and some amazing Baroque churches.

Lovely old building in the old town, great location for visiting that area of the city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, answering any questions and arranging taxi's on request. There was never much wait time to speak to them. The breakfast had lots of choice and delicious food, they also had a restaurant and bar though I never used it, but it looked very nice. Room had a mini bar if required, and a kettle. The room was cleaned on request with fresh towels and making up the beds. The rooms were a good size, as was the bathroom and good quality toiletries were provided, rather than the industrial refill stuff.

The pool was closed, the hotel was chosen partly for the pool so a bit disappointing. Rooms a little dated and dusty in areas. We requested a quiet room, the hotel was quiet, however, there was a lot of noise coming in from people passing by at night, there didn't seem to be much soundproofing to block it out. No milk provided for the room, even though tea and coffee was provided.

I stayed in the hotel 4 nights. The location is perfect in the city centrum but in a quiet area with cafés, restaurant and main sites within walking distance. Rooms are spacious with a desk and a TV a wardrobe and a full toilette with a big and accessible shower, they are a bit old but also it gaves it a charm. Checking area is spacious with a bar. Restaurant is also spacious and serves a buffet breakfast with plenty of options, the coffee is not that great but there is a lovely coffee shop in the corner that does the job. Wireless network works really good and personal in the hotel and restaurant are friendly and take care of the guests. It is a real bargain for the price.

Receptionist made a mistake while using the card and overcharged me comparing to booking.com price. I have realized that an hour later and reported it. Money were returned but no one said "I am sorry". I have asked for double bed but received twin beds room. Hotel was not full so probably there was an option. I didn't have time to run up & down to ask for a change. Bathroom needs renovation. My room at 5th floor had one small window, very dark.

The staff and the hotal were lovely but the lifts were a bit confusing as you had to take two different lifts to the 6th floor the hotel its self is in a great location near the cathedral and tower bell and also the palace museum which is worth the 11 euro to see the 6th floor is a sight to see just breathtaking and your in walking distance of shops and restaurants no need for taxis ,breakfast is fantastic there is a variety for everyone can't comment on the evening meal or lunch as i did not have any there.

Very comfortable room in a good location. Cleaning service done daily, even when we left the room quite late.

Rooms need blackout curtains. We were blessed with lovely weather during our stay but we were also woken up much earlier than we would have liked by sunlight streaming through the curtains. Hotel needs more/bigger lifts. We only had our included breakfast once because it finished at 10am. People on holiday want a lie in. Particularly as the breakfast is only buffet style, I really feel it could be extended until 11 during the week and have little to no impact on staffing/cost considerations.
