Artagonist Art Hotel

This is a really lovely quiet hotel in the heart of the old town. Very stylish decor, helpful young staff, and a lovely vibe. The room was very comfortable, it’s lovely to have a separate wet/shower room and dry bathroom. The bed was super-comfy too. Everything you could want for a weekend stay. The breakfast is served in a light and bright basement bistro, with a delicious selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts, fresh pastries, and hot and cold cooked meats. There’s a little bar and coffee shop on the ground floor where you can watch the world go by.

Comfortable, quiet although on street side, very clean. Wide spread at breakfast. Friendly staff with good English. Excellent location - easy walk to all parts of the old town.

What no art on our room walls? That's what had attracted us to it at first. Had prebooked tasting menu at Amundus restaurant which said it was in the hotel on restaurant's website. When rang hotel to confirm table reservation were told it was no longer at the hotel. NOT hotel's fault. Restaurant had not updated website since it moved over a year ago. So beware!

The decor was so classy and artistic, the room amenities were incredible and so thoughtful (like the water filter, rack to hang clothes, etc) , the ability to have interconnected rooms, and the location was amazing. The windows open up to a main street , perfect for people watching. The employees were so helpful too and accommodated our request for a crib.

The only two critiques I have are that the air conditioner was very loud and the automatic motion-sensor lights in the shower room (in the superior arm room) lit up the entire hotel room in the middle of the night because there’s only a frosted glass door.

Everything was pretty much great. Very nice staff, a beautiful room (room 311), nice breakfast (3 types of milk, different types of cheese, fruit salad, pancakes, fresh vegetables, eggs etc). Pet friendly, which was a great bonus! ♥️ Great location, lovely design!

If I have to be really picky - no refrigerator, the look outside the window isn’t picturesque, smaller pet fee would be nice for our tiny dog ( for example 15 euros per stay, not per day). However, for 15 euros per day our little one got a bed, a bowl and a snack. Super cute! Thanks! A little bit cold, where the breakfast is served.

Artagonist is an incredibly welcoming, comfortable, and well appointed boutique hotel in the center of the Old Town. Without exception, the customer service was exceptional. It is clear that the ownership and the management intend to provide a unique experience that exceeds expectations. Even small details, like the pour over flask in my room for coffee, or the alternate lighting schemes that could be selected at the touch of a button, were appreciated. The room design is very calming. Large windows curtained for soft light, good sound proofing, and comfortable beds and pillows, all aim at quality rest and relaxation. The breakfast is served buffet style with an enormous selection and attentive staff that kept everything fully stocked throughout the morning. At no time did I feel at a disadvantage for eating late. The tables were always clean and the buffet appeared as if it had just opened. As a solo traveler on a longer, budget-oriented trip, this was a bit of a splurge, but even then it was an excellent value. I would return to Vilnius just to stay at the Artagonist again. During our stay, the weather conditions resulted in buildup of ice across the city's roads and sidewalks. While the hotel's doorway was clean and not slippery, the few meters of pavement in front of the hotel could have been cleared of ice to make it safer to enter/leave a car. One of members of staff at breakfast spoke only in Lithuanian and ignored my partner when being greeted in English. Other members of staff were very friendly and helpful, however.

The stay in the hotel was a really great experience. The room we stayed was designed by someone who knows how to make hotel spaces usable and still good-looking. The bathroom was clean and spatial. Breakfast was tasteful and varied. The parking that was organised by the hotel staff was really close to the hotel even though it is the centre of Vilnius. The parking lot was behind a barrier in the hidden place. Hotel staff was always helpful and well-informed - you can ask them anything, and they will help. I wish there would be more places like this around the world.

It was an excellent experience. :) had possibility to cast my phone to the room TV without me having to bring a Chromecast, showers/bathroom was really nice, had air-condition and many different types of ways to light the room, and internet was not slow :)

Breakfast was okay better than average, but not exceeding my expectations, water bottle with filter pre-filled, this should have been empty, since we had no way of knowing when it had been filled. there was no refrigerator for keeping my drinks/water cold.

This was our second stay at the Artagonist, so we do like it a lot. The hotel is elegant and the breakfast is very good. It is possible to reserve an affordable and conveniently located car parking. The location of the hotel itself is as central as it gets but at the same time not (too) noisy. The beds are very comfortable.

Each room in the hotel is different and accordingly each comes with its quirks. This time we stayed in room 207 which has sliding doors to the bathroom and the shower room which do not close fully (as in hermetically) and thus do not grant full privacy. Also the lights in the bathroom and the shower room are operated automatically and appear to have a mind of their own, we did not figure out how to operate them adequately. If you arrive for breakfast towards the end of the service, the chances are that the selection will be minimal, although I did see that the staff tried to accommodate guests who not only missed the breakfast time but also wanted to make special meal orders.

Amazing location! The hotel is very stylish and personnel is very helpful. They let me to do an early check-in and I was really greatfull, because I had a flight at 5:30 am and really wanted to sleep. The room design is cool, I stayed at the last floor. They have Chemex in the room for making coffee, I loved it!

One day I left “please, make up my room” card on the door around 3 pm and nobody came. The sound proof was not good, my neighbors had a party and I heard literally every word. The hotel has a music playing in the corridor, it’s quite loud and I had a trouble sleeping in the morning. The restaurant looks more like a canteen, such a stylish hotel needs to invest more effort in it. In the evening there is no bar man and all they can do is to give you a glass of white or red wine, that’s it. During the check out nobody asked about my experience.
