Mastino Rooms

Mastino rooms is not located in the actual hotel. It’s across and down the street. We didn’t have a problem with that, but I would like to stay in the actual hotel next time. Both locations are near the heart of activity and you can walk to almost anywhere you want to see. Tons of fabulous restaurants nearby. The room was large and attractively furnished. We had a problem because the weather was unseasonably hot and they had already turned off their air conditioning for the season. We felt they should have provided a fan. Housekeeping did a first rate job on the rooms. Sorry we can’t say the same for the reception staff, who were not helpful and seemed actually hostile if you asked them a question. The safe in our room didn’t work consistently. You could lock your valuables in it, then it wouldn’t open! The breakfast was very good, with lots of healthy and decadent selections. We subsequently stayed in another location and kept wishing they had a breakfast like Mastino Rooms.

Need air conditioning or a fan in off season. Italy gets very hot and humid in the fall. Absolutely need two chais in a double room. My boyfriend and I wee fighting over the ONE desk chair. TV would not connect to my computer with an HDMI cable so we were stuck with Italian stations that we couldn’t understand. Not Mastino Rooms’ fault, but booking.com does a terrible job when you have a problem. I would never use them again because they just want you to employ their services so they can get a commission, but they don’t want to provide even the slightest service in return.

This was a very good stay. My room was across the street in a separate building, but the room was very good, super clean and tidy, quite new feeling, everything in working order, and a nice clean style. The reception staff and cleaning staffs were quite lovely… breakfast was pretty basic but on par for the region. Location was excellent, just steps from the gate to the historic center yet still nice & quiet. Just a short one night stay, but left with a very favorable impression and would recommend to others

Bed ar horrible, for double bed 🛌 you get 2 mattress so on the middle you have big gap . Matters ar cheaper so you can sleep very well. The check in and out you doing on the hotel and after you sleeping on other side around 100 meters ..so you need to carry everything with you on the street. They have on booking PARKING (I think extra cost ) but when you asked about Parking they said sorry not available you should booking before ,but they not specified nowhere about that . So you need to parking your car on normal parking . Staff rude ,I was asking for buy coffee and the girl from reception said NO we don't have ONLY ON BREAKFAST. NOT RECOMMENDED this hotel.

Location was great. The staff was very helpful when I needed to extend my stay for one day due to a train strike. Although I had to change rooms, they took care of moving my belongings while I was out touring. Breakfast was great. The only thing I could possibly say that was negative was that my second room was directly across from the bar that was open late at night, and I could hear the noise. It didn’t keep me awake, as I was tired, but it was disturbing

Super friendly staff. We loved Alfredo who helped us with parking and locating the room which is separate from the hotel. The lady in the reception was very knowledgeable about the tourist stops and walked us through the details of the city map. Great location. The parking felt expensive at first but was great value and located under ground behind our own gate that only we had the key for. We do not regret adding this service.

Room is separate from the main hotel which was a bit confusing when checking in.

the location was amazing we were walking distance from the arena and a comfortable walk from other places. their breakfast was over and beyond what we expected. the staff were very friendly and what ever we asked they always did their best to help. If i return to Verona i will return to this hotel..

The property was beautiful and extremely close to the centre! We were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff checking in and out.

When coming into the room we realised the balcony door had been left open (accidentally I presume) which left the room being filled with a lot of bugs scattered in the corners and on the bedside tables.

The location of this property was excellent - it was within walking distance to everything. The staff were really helpful and friendly too. We booked a twin room, but when we arrived and it was a double bed, the staff sorted it immediately :) I’d definitely use Mastino Rooms again - thank you

The location was the best thing but the bed was super comfy as well and great value for money, every staff member we spoke to was lovely as well

The bathroom was probably the only negative as it was pretty small with very little sink space (so for two girls traveling together that can be difficult)

Location. Breakfast was great, staff serving breakfast were really good.

Lady on reception when we arrived and later was really unhelpful. Showers in all 3 rooms we had had broken wall fittings and so could be used hands free.
