Hotel Giulietta e Romeo ***S

This is an A+++ hotel. We had a bathtub in our room, and a separate shower! Amazing comfortable beds. The breakfast was more than excellent with fresh fruit, pancakes, two types of eggs, and gluten free options. Staff was super helpful, we managed to get an early check-in and they stored our bags after checkout. The parking is a bit expensive for 24€/night, but work it considering the location and the fact that we could leave the car until 4pm the next day.

Not a bad thing to say about this hotel!

Stayed here for five nights on our first visit to Verona. The hotel’s location was perfect, a minute away from the arena, where we saw Aida and next to the main shopping street. It’s an easy city to get around on foot. There’s plenty to see. The room was nice for an inner city hotel and had everything needed. The staff were all professional, very friendly and helpful. Their two restaurant recommendations were spot on. The breakfast was fine and as expected. Would certainly recommend and stay here again.

The only small thing I can think that could be improve in the room, would to be supplied with four coffee pods in the room instead of only two.

This modern hotel is located about 200 metres from the Arena so is well located for the sights of Verona We were very content with all aspects. The hotel was very flexible with an early arrival (they stored the bags and took them to our rooms when available). The room was light modern and clean with an enormous comfortable bed. The bathroom was likewise with a great walk-in shower. Breakfast consisted of a large variety of fresh and tasty food. All staff were polite and helpful and worked with our attempts at clumsy Italian. We found Judith very helpful and professional All in all, a lovely hotel. Verona is a beautiful city, and this was a great establishment to stay in. Thank You

Just about everything. Staff is very nice and accoodating, breakfast is good and I had no problems getting my decafinated coffee. My wife usually eats jogurt with some fruits, then she has some eggs, bacon, olives, tomatos and cheese. I alway go for sweet stuff, pancakes, marmolades, cakes (these are really good and you have wide selection). We were both happy with the selection. Fitness is also good and valet parking is working perfectly. No problem. I read a lot of complaints about the rooms. Well, we booked a supirior room and it was OK - enough space to move around and bathroom was also nice. Very clean and we do not say this easy. About the temerature in the room - rooms are a bit colder then they usually are in hotels, but we like it that way.

Everything. We did a late check-in, coming from Venice, and it was raining a lot. When doing the check-in we were informed that we were being upgraded to a bigger room :) That was really nice after all the stress with getting from the train station to the hotel by Bus ad agin with all the rain. Room and bathroom were great.Best shower ever, best bed and pillows. What a comfortable and peaceful night we had. The cherry on top of the cake: THE BREAKFAST - on my Top 5: can only recommend! Don't hesitate to book at this hotel when you need to stay in Verona - Location, staff, rooms and Breakfast, you will have the best time in the city

Although the bathroom was lovely and clean the toilet was in a very cramped space between the wall and the shower. This was not helped by the fact that there was also a shower control on the wall right next to the toilet which every time you moved you were at risk of switching on. This happened to my husband and he got soaked as did the floor meaning he then had to use the towels to dry it up. The other problem was that the room was quite warm and the air conditioning was not functioning satisfactorily and we did not say anything as we didn’t want to complain.

The Location was fantastic, just steps away from the Arena. Our room was ready before check in time. the bed & pillows were comfortable, the shower had good pressure and was always nice and hot. The staff were all welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast was the nicest buffet breakfast we have had with a good selection of everything including fresh fruit of all types

Not a complaint but a suggestion, that China cups or mugs be in the bedroom rather than paper.

Great room with big windows. Bathroom with bathtube. Big, comfortable bed. Table for laptop. Very helpful piccolo. Possible to store luggage in the dining area.

Should have been cheaper. Could have been more colors in the room. Breakfast: did not eat it, cause I was sick. Tried to call the reception to tell them that I needed a late check-out, but after trying over and over again, we gave up. We asked the cleaning lady if it was okay to be 30-60 min too late, and she was fine with that. However the receptionist was not okay with that ( until she heard why we were checking out late and that we had made a deal with the cleaning lady). In other words: hard to get in touch by phone with the receptionists. Probably because they are so busy all the time...

Breakfast was excellent, rich one and very tasted. The hotel location was more than excellent and we visited everything by foot. The pedestrian street and shopping boutiques were next to the hotel and everything around was amassing.

The main issue that worth to stressed was 1 room (among of the 3 booked by us) that was too small one! It was booked and payed for two persons (double room) but its size bed was for a single and size room extremely small!

Perfect from arrival to departure, greeted by a friendly and attentive reception. The hotel was deceptive and although looked discreet and average on the outside it was anything but inside. The room was beautiful and it had everything we could possibly need. I’m room kettle and a huge variety of hot drinks available, the mini bar was a nice touch. The room was clean and tidy. The hotel is in a fantastic location and all the points of interest are within easy walking distance. The buffet breakfast offered a huge variety of hot and cold items, there was something for everyone and had a relaxed atmosphere, the waiting team were attentive and friendly.
